Not sure if this has been posted yet. Great little feature on James Campen narrated by Rodgers.

Edit: didn't realize that was part 2/2. Here's part 1 and part 2.

Word has it that Rodgers and Woodley have called off the engagement for now. They are still on good terms, but they no longer plan to get married.

Many believed that Woodley was critical to 12's decision to force his way out of Green Bay. Maybe he'll reconsider that now...

Wow, that’s a shocker. I have often thought it was odd that we never heard anything about Woodley being in Green Bay or how she felt about Rodgers’ potential move to other nfl cities. I had actually thought she was probably trying to lobby Rodgers to find a bigger city and one closer to the west coast. Who knows?

I don’t rejoice in the termination of an engagement for anyone; though it can be the best thing in the big picture. But I can’t help but wonder if this isn’t going to make #12 more amenable to staying in GB.

I heard an interview with Andrew Brandt last week and he believes if the Packers and Rodgers win it all, it probably INCREASES the probability GB moves on from Rodgers via trade or he retires. He said while it won’t give LaFleur and Gute an unlimited pass, the reality is there will be a leeway given to the Front Office to not be pressured to win another SB β€œfor years”.

He also said you don’t draft players in the 1st round for them to sit and sit. Taking Love means they are expecting him to play and play very soon. The days of QBs sitting for 2- 3 years aren’t the reality in todays NFL anymore.

I thought they were interesting comments considering Brandts knowledge base of the Packers and how front offices can work in the NFL
