So per updated reports, Doubs not only no showed on Thursday but also did the same thing Friday.
Pretty obvious that Gute had no choice but to suspend him.
The plot thickenedeth.
Sources tell @TheLeapGB there were multiple instances this week where Doubs expressed his frustration to the coaching staff about his role in the offense.

Everyone is trying to figure out who Romeo Doubs is this morning, it appears. Here's our attempt last January.

More like heβs gonna get cut then sign with the Vikings, Iβm sure a Ya thumb down is headed my way for this comment, but donβt be surprised if this happens
He just cost himself a shit ton of money or a career destined to play on shit teams.
How is his agent not telling him this is a stupid financial move?
I feel like the team preparing to go back to LA triggered something in his brain.
Go read the Ty Dunne article. It says a lot about his mindset.
Since he's suspended....does he still get on the plane? Or they keeping him at home in Green Bay?
He's not travelling with the team per Silverstein.

Only one from that group has now been suspended for conduct detrimental.
It's Reed and then everybody else at this point. He has to be the clear priority to extend when the time comes.
Romeo DumDum cost himself a lot of money.
Good to show true colors now at low wage then at $15 milly per year
Iβm no therapist or doctor but to me this really seems like some kind of a mental health crisisβ¦..anxiety, panic attacks, depression or something like that. Romeo being upset about his role in the offense is probably just an excuse for whatever is actually bothering him.
I hope he figures it out and gets whatever help he needs.

And I am just here for the free psychiatric evaluations and advice.
Won't cost Doubs much financially if he handles it properly going forward (similar to Jaire).

It's not free.
He's trying to get traded home. Wonder if LAV would swap WR's?

You must be new here
Trade Wicks, keep Romeo!!
It sucks because Romeo does have some talent and at present is more reliable than Wicks. Hopefully some people can talk some sense into him. We could have used him today.
Thank you Romeo for quitting on the team before signing a large contract extension like Gary, Campbell, Clark, and Jaire
Welcome back, Romeo!
Now get your ass to work!
It will be interesting to hear what he says in his first PC after the suspension.
Fuck this guy.
He will be okay. I think he's a sensitive guy who got overwhelmed with his feelings. But it's better to care too much than to care too little. He'll learn from it and move forward.
I care so much!!!!!!!

I totally agree with this. Reed I think we can pretty much agree is possibly emerging as the guy for the receivers. That is why IMHO Romeo is having some real issues mentally, he has been given some horrible advice, or he has caught the WR diva disease.
Doubs to me is blowing it because Watson is only available 50% of the time and one other WR can't catch the ball. So to me it would be natural they try and get him the ball more.
I hope the gets the help he needs to get his head straight.
So, Iβm not opposed to having more than βthe guyβ. Make those fucking DCs panic!
Packers WR Romeo Doubs was not in the locker room for media availability again today.#Packers

Do you think it was that Romeo did not want to do it or that maybe the Packers did not want him to do it. Quit speculating as to who did what!! When the time is right for him and the Packers he will be made available. Maybe after he catches the winning TD pass against the Cards.
@ammo posted:Do you think it was that Romeo did not want to do it or that maybe the Packers did not want him to do it.
Explain to me the rationale the Packers would have for shielding Doubs from the media (didn't do it with Jaire and the theory doesn't really make any sense).
If it is a mental health issue, then shielding him is the decent thing to do If that is what he wants.
My thought is if anxiety is the root of this stuff, being questioned by the media could certainly set him off.
And/or docs have told the team to avoid it based on same/similar reason.
