Hey, if we get 10 solid games from him, I'd be thrilled. And hopefully some of those occur after January 1st.
I'd be happy with more than a full season combined from Watkins and Cobb.
20+ combined games would be a bonus.
Watkins is now 29.
He has had number of injuries over his 8-year NFL career and missed 27 games over the last 6 years (never more than 8 in one season).
The Bills, Rams, Chiefs, and Ravens have all moved on from Sammy over the past 6 years.
The last 6 seasons, Watkins' yardage totals have been:

Numbers suggest worst-case for Sammy is MVS production with the potential for significant upside (if he can stay on the field, admittedly a big if).
I have a good feeling about Watkins. Seems to have a quiet confidence. Side note - in FF I drafted him #134. The very next pick was MVS. Side note 2 - I am starting Sammy over Adam Thielen this week, and I fell confident about it.
I'm hoping for the best from Watkins but nothing in his career says he'll be anything more than an average WR this season, even when healthy.

I’m thinking we try Sammy Hagar instead. At least other than sucking at WR, he’d bring some decent entertainment.

Sammy (barely) got the most snaps.
I suspect Watson & Doubs are going to continue to get theirs when Lazard returns and hope that Lazard's snaps will come at the expense of Watkins and Cobb.
As for Amari Rodgers, he is apparently WR 7 at the moment.

Interesting how many snaps Watson got despite missing just about all of training camp and preseason.
These guys need to get better ASAP. Sucks to demand so much of rookies but it's where we are. Sammy needs to be better too.

Jones sure looked old to me yesterday. I know he is older but dang he aged fast. He used to be a holy terror on the field.

Bucs have at least two WRs in front of Jones who are superior to any vet currently on GB's roster.

I’m guessing he was a decoy and that first play was meant to show exactly why teams need to pay attention to him. Guarantee he spends more time distracting Safeties this year than he does catching passes. Can’t tee off on the underneath routes if there’s a guy who can take the top off at any moment.

Cobb for sure, but I'd include Watkins instead. Get these rooks up to speed ASAP. Watkins is not the future, he may not even be the present.

I doubt he's elevated again if Lazard is back. You can only do that 3 times a season for any particular player. Don't want to waste it when you have 7 healthy WR's.
I wish someone would tell Rodgers that his buddy Cobb isn't active this week. It's like 10 against 11 when he's on the field. Might as well suit up Toure, at least he can run.

And as of September 25, 2022, Sammy remains as healthy as he's been over his prior 6 seasons.
Packer fans will never forget those 6 catches for 112 yards before the inevitable injury Sammy.
