Not steroids. Aderall, like Mike Neal.

From a Seattle sports radio guy: ‏@Softykjr: League source confirms Irvin suspended for aderall use. Did not appeal suspension. Out first 4 games of 2013.
I can't wait to get them again in the regular or post season with straight up refs.

Hell enough fans were mad about the roughing penalty Perry got against Luck. I still can't forget the roughing against Wilson when his toe got tagged at almost the sidelines, he fell down, and we got a roughing call. (I don't think it was Perry, was it Jones?)

NFLFU!

Irvin's suspension also continues a troubling trend of Seattle players running afoul of the league's policies on banned substances. Since 2011, five Seahawks players -- John Moffitt, Allen Barbre, Winston Guy, Brandon Browner and Irvin -- have received four-game suspensions. Barbre was later released by the team.

Didn't realize that Barbre had a suspension too.
Looks like Philadelphia picked him up, four game suspension and all. That's a lot of extra baggage for a journeyman to carry when he's trying to make a new roster.

Edit: Doh! That was last year.
You might be right Bong

Ahman Green was quoted recently saying adderal wasn't really like steroids at all Confused

I think a lot of players view HGH the same way

The issue is they are banned substances and there are long term health problems connected to their use.

WHA??? Eeker What happened to that whole Packer People thing.

Hate your new monika. Now I am actually proofreading my posts, you bastard. Mad
Wasn't CMIII part of that dynasty under Carroll.

Cushing was from that program too, i doubt they are far apart on their designer hgh regimens. Not many people come into college weighing less than 180 and come out looking like CMIII without some kind of unnatural assitance.

Heck, i'd be 80% of the NFL - and maybe more have cheated in some way.... and will continue to until they actually get tough on these guys. Unfortunately, it is going to take someone dying on the field to even remotely come close to forcing their hand on drug testing and other safety measures that the game desperately needs.

Yes, I know as fans we want these guys looking like CMIII, Cushing, Irvin, or insert hundreds of players names here - but I think we'd all enjoy the game just the same if these guys were natural athletes.

Hell of a program they are running in Seattle. Former Badger Moffitt was already banned from the Mall when he got arrested for public urination and breaking the ban

Pete Carroll never met a law or a rule he wouldn't break - and his club has certainly followed his lead.
