@Boris I am well away from the action. Rusty is just North of it and may get some fringe accumulation. I'm hoping I don't have to travel there Mon or Tues to dig him out. Avoided it last year. Tried to find a live cam around the stadium but nothing. The North outpost, The famous "WE NEVER CLOSE " cam is up but they got bare ground. Storm chaser Brandon ( "Let's go!") is driving into the band as I type. He's in Dunkirk now.

Buffalo gets a lot of lake effect snowfall, just as anyone does, who lives near a big lake, like Erie or Superior. Ever hear of factory effect snowfall? We had that happen on Thanksgiving day when were traveling near Menomonie, WI on I-94. A glass factory released a lot of steam, into the atmosphere, where the hot steam met with the cold, humid air and caused it to snow. It snowed heavily, too! There was also some ice pellets mixed with it. Some county trucks were out, salting the roads, to prevent ice build up.

Just like going to Lambeau when they played Tampa. Snowmobiles!!

I was on leave from the military the weekend of the snow bowl against Tampa.  For the first time in my life I had Packers tickets in my hands, and I couldn't get there because the roads were so bad.

I grew up right on Lake Michigan and we would get lake effect snows quite a bit  but as bad as it was at times we would never get 4 feet of it.  I hope everyone can be safe during this storm.

I am also wondering how they can justify playing this game today.
