Had to help my neighbor today. He went out in the field to get round bales for his cattle. Got stuck, called me to help shovel. I could see him from my house so I walked over with 2 shovels. Took one look and knew we weren't going to get it out that that way. Went back and plugged my diesel tractor in so it would warm up, went over to his farm to get another chain. Came back, got my tractor fired with a little starting fluid and plowed a road thru the field to pull him out. The snow waas so deep his tractor spinning with chains on wasn't even touching dirt. Eeker Got him pulled out and then plowed more of a road so he could get to the bales easily.
that is the good **** about country life. People helping and taking care of each other.

I Helped two of my neighbors. And another neighbor was over with the Monster Deere tractor and took care of what I could not handle.

Just need to teach Dum Dum wife how to drive in the country. She swamped the SUV three times last year....and buried my truck the other day.

This happens to me all the time.
I live on the border and we got walloped, by the time I got to the train station, we had 6 inches of snow already, by the time it was over we had another 22 inches. I won't complain, actually had fun with it, don't know how to post pics but it truly was a winter wonderland, just wish the snowplows could actually plow a street with two lanes.
