Today's solar eclipse is just starting in my neck of the woods. It should peak in about an hour and 20 minutes from now, with 85% of the sun covered. Partly cloudy here so most of it will be viewable.

A few breaks in the clouds here. It will be visible off and on.
Really nice this morning, but there seem to be more clouds for the 95% coverage here.
I figured everybody else was going to visit @RochNyFan.
Very clear in West Michigan, but we won't quite get a totality.
At the Max here now. thought it would be a bit darker out with getting about 84% totality.
The sunglass store:

"If you ever want to go to the beach, the lens needs to be polarized and those start $125."
The eclipse:
"You can use these to stare directly into the sun for $3."
Where I live we had a total eclipse for about 4 minutes and it took another 15 minutes or so for the sun to come back totally. Kind of wild just after 3 pm EST to have my solar lights come on and the birds stopped singing.
