Did a double-take when I saw Pakrz' topic title as I'd planned on the very same topic, but with a different spin.

Went home to Milwaukee to watch the Super Bowl with my Dad and 2 brothers and 2 sisters over the weekend. A discussion came up about whether Starr/Favre/Rodgers will be the greatest team QB "trio" ever if he puts up another 7-8 years like he's put up his first few.

We brain-stormed, came up with a few really great 1-2's and then laughed at the drop-off to #3.... We were also stunned at the number of teams that stopped at #1 (Jets).

...I'll let you guys have that laugh.

Only team that I think comes close is Dallas. Even at that it's still not really that close. Staubach/Aikman/White or Staubach/Aikman/Romo. For all of Romo's warts he's still the #2 rated passer of all time.

I think these are the teams in modern era with 2 HOF QBs who played the majority of their careers with the same team -

SF
Miami
Dallas

Obviously Green Bay will have 2 in a few years, assuming Favre stays retired.

Yes I'm a geezer.

Sonny Jurgenson was flat out awesome, in my opinion. My favorite old-timer.

George Allen repaced Jurgenson with Billy Kilmer who QB'ed the team that lost the SB to the Dolphins and who if the Packers had -any- passing threat, the Pack would have beaten in the playoffs (Brockington-MacArthur Lane team).
