I'm no fan of Dom Capers (not anymore), but they did a pretty respectable job against him in the playoffs last year. No Shields, Matthews and Heyward, and they nearly pulled it off. Of course, all that matters is that he did actually make the game winning plays in the end. The image of Mulumba hobbling after Kaepernick on that 3rd down run on their game winning FG drive is burned into my retinas.

I don't want to say that the Lions aren't a good team, but they have had a fortunate schedule so far. Any team that they've played that's half way decent, they played at home. Sure they can beat the Vikings and Atlanta on the road, but let's see how they do in the next 2 weeks when they're on the road at AZ and NE.

 

We may see that they're not so charmed after all.
