How are the Lions always so ....... not good? I mean they're not really terrible, as in Dolphins train wreck, but they're not good. Millen has been gone for years now, Stafford's a decent QB, they seem to have some solid talent, yet they're never seemingly close to good.

I thought Mike Daniels said his HC was a genius..

Man, I forgot all about him being there. Looks like the genius put him in position to have 0 tackles and 1 assist.

edit: Wow, looks like Hock had a nice NFL debut!

The Browns fan who fell off the van? Someone claiming to be his son (not verified yet, but the dude did end up in the hospital) posted on twitter that he suffered a fractured skull, six broken ribs, and more...  man falls off van Apparently he has a medical condition and did not have any alcohol. From the way he fell, it certainly seems like something just crashes internally that sent him down like a log. It did make me wonder: who the heck drove him there if this type of thing happens to him out of the blue? I'd hate for that to happen on the freeway!

I didn't see the plays leading up to the last two, so I don't know how the Saints moved the ball.  But I really think on the last play, the Texans D intentionally let the Saints make a <10 yard completion (the last one).  They probably thought at that point, if the kicker can make a 60 yarder, they deserve to win.  With a TO in their pocket, I don't think the Texans wanted the Saints to make a longer completion setting up an easier FG.  Clearly it didn't work in their favor.

The worst of all worlds, a Dallas NE SB.

I wish to amend this . Cowboys vs. Vikings in the NFCC game and the winner plays the Pats.

Must always minimize the possibility any team wins 3 in a row.  Pats would be one championship away if they win this year.

Can't root for the Pats and I don't care who the opponent is.

Texans/Saints was a pretty good game in general. I thought it was clear that NO was the better team, but Houston was pretty scrappy. It's sad though that the first 58 minutes wasn't as exciting as the last 2.

Broncos/Raiders quickly became unwatchable. Steve Levy and crew were stuck on Antonio Brown's nuts, and wouldn't get off them. I was done by halftime.
