The weekend went about as well as it could for the Packers.

Let's get ready to win another game ugly.

I prefer Seattle as opposed to NO

Why?  That NO defense is a joke.

only thing that worries me is that loser 3 running around like a deer, i think the defense is better disciplined now, but i hate watching that - with our dime d and a safety/lb hybrid, we should be equipped to spy on 3 - other than that, i feel pretty good, and the running game should be used all day...no kill shots!!!

Exactly...That's why this was really a bad scenario for the Pack. Sure, if Minny wins you get NFCCG at home..but..against Minny, which would absolutely suck. Would have much rather played the Saints and then taken the chance Sea/Phi beat SF. This is why NOT getting the #1 seed changed everything. Freaking Seahawks.

Not getting the #1 seed changed nothing.  With the win today Minny would still have come to Green Bay, only a week earlier.

Not necessarily...they would not have been playing the Saints right away had that happened. It would have been Seattle instead.

So they beat Seattle and they still come to Green Bay in the Divisional Round.  As I said, nothing changed.

Amazingly, Dom's defense's owned Russ. His lowest QBR against any one team in his career is against the Packers.

Because NO was 13-3 and Seattle was 11-5.

Nothing else matters.

Cancel your U-Haul reservation.  SF is going to kick the shit out of MN.  The loud mouth MN fans know it too.

Pretty sure you have to live 1000 feet away from parks and schools too.

You have to be kidding.

Not to mention wrong. This whole "tough to beat a team 3 times" gets used so much that people just believe it. Fact is teams are 11-5 in those situations since 1991. I guess Packer fans buy it because of 2004 and forget we beat Tampa 3 times in the 1997 season.

Where are the stats to back that up Drew?

Maybe it was first series. Not first play.

Tough crowd!

Josh McCown threw Larry Fitzgerald's first TD reception.

Patriots scored a TD on their first drive last year against the Chargers in the Divisional Playoffs.

So the way that fact was stated the 2018 Pats would not be part of the fact since it's the last 3 teams that fumbled on their first play of the playoffs.

Just looking at the stats, I couldn't really tell how good NOS D was vs MIN.  Granted I only saw the fourth quarter.

Subtract that last prayer from Cus to Theilen and Cook is the only offensive player that did anything notable, even though he didn't even hit 100yds.  Cus would have been under 200yds, Diggs and Thielen would have both been under 100.  Minus the last ball to Thielen and the TD to Rudolph where NOS inexplicably leave him 1-on-1 with PJ Williams, is it safe to say NOS D did their job?

New Orleans had a better record than Seattle.

New Orleans beat Seattle.

All stats other than Win/Loss record are pseudo intellectual garbage.  You cannot spin 13-3 vs 11-5 into anything else. New Orleans is without question the better team.

No doubt. I think you also saw how good the Vikings can be.

Isn't it interesting -- Niners got our rivals & we have theirs.

What does the NFL want on Championship Sunday?

Funny thing is my original statement had nothing to do with stats Drew.  So you're right, pseudo intellectual garbage when it's used out of context, which is often.  Kind of like JSOnline deciding if Rodgers holds onto the ball too long by timing each pass from 2011 vs. 2019.   What exactly is the point of doing this other than propping up more rampant clickbait?  I'm sure it's just because they want the facts on a completely irrelevant point as to passing game issues in 2019.

The crux of this whole pissing match is I believe the entire passing game from coaches to players needs evaluation including talent.  Why is it so hard to think a bunch of UDFAs may not be cutting it in the NFL?  Is it even harder to think that as Rodgers abilities decline it would be necessary to have solid talent around him in the pass game?  Everybody suffering from lunchpailitis?

Tony Romo said the unthinkable about the GOAT, he needs help out there.  Pretty sure the GOAT's receiving corp is better than what that failure Rodgers is dealing with.

You clowns think it's because I and others think Rodgers is sacred.  Guess what, it's more about horseshit, cherrypicked arguments and half ass stats play into it quite a bit.  If Rodgers sucks ass next year with a talent infusion and coach who is more established I'll be the first one to say trade him while he has value.

So there you go.  Hack away.  I'm going to enjoy the uncertainty.

Perhaps because we've seen the UDFA's open while the elite QB throws the ball over their head, behind them, at their feet or doesn't see them at all.
