EZ pushoff was obvious on slow-motion replay, but at game speed was pretty subtle. Not at all surprised it wasn't called.

Which begs the question of why that distinction needs to be made. Review is for the purpose of seeing things not necessarily seen in real time. And getting them right. This call happened like the endgame of GB/PHIL. No official explained, broadcast quietly says "the call was upheld." Why have a rule change when you choose to ignore it in such a critical spot?

The one thing MN can do is rush the QB and run the ball.   That’s a pretty decent formula for success on the road.

Jimmy G is the wild card.  If he struggles or is overwhelmed by the moment then maybe MN has a shot.

Not sure why anyone would want to play the vikings again. They always give the Packers trouble and beating a team 3 times in one season is tough

Because it would be so so tasty.   Num num num num.

League was only interested in attempting to fix egregious misses like the one in the Ram/Saints game.

A GB/MN NFCCG would be a lot of fun.

People wouldnt prefer the Queens at home v having to go to SF on the road?

I don’t like how the Packers match up with the Niners.  Not at all.

Completely disagree. Had they overturned that TD, that would've been the biggest travesty this side of the Fail Mary.

Understood. But football doesn't allow for egregious vs not. They created a can of worms by changing the rule, and it looks horrible in the most critical play of a playoff game. The point being- the rule was changed so serious errors could be reviewed and possibly overturned. Is there any better example than what we just witnessed? It bit the Saints in the ass today, like it bit GB vs Philly. It will be happening again. No doubt about it.

Playing at Lambeau doesn't guarantee a win

Nope, it doesn't.  The chance to knock them out.  Did not see that coming.

Fuck the Minnesota Vikiings.

We lose, we still win.  They will not win the league championship.

Exactly...That's why this was really a bad scenario for the Pack. Sure, if Minny wins you get NFCCG at home..but..against Minny, which would absolutely suck. Would have much rather played the Saints and then taken the chance Sea/Phi beat SF. This is why NOT getting the #1 seed changed everything. Freaking Seahawks.

I didn’t fear the Vikings before this game, Cousins couldn’t stand the heat with the NFCN on the line, I have no issue with us playing them a 3rd time. Zimmer is afraid of Aaron Rodgers 100%.

That said I think we match up better at home against SEA and PHI. Philly got us napping early in the year, I don’t think Wentz has it in him to do it again. And Wilson seems to have trouble against GB, not sure why. I’m happy to see those teams next week.

Next week will be a good test for Jimmy G. Zim will throw a lot at him, there will definitely be some holes in his game identified. Zimmer vs Shannahan is going to be a fun matchup to watch.

Old wives tale...

Per ESPN.com, since the 1970 merger, 20 teams have had to face a divisional opponent in the playoffs after beating them twice in the regular season. Thirteen of those teams won the third matchup (65 percent).

The last team to lose in such a situation was the 2007 Cowboys, who beat the Giants twice in the regular season but lost in the divisional round, as the Giants went on to win the Super Bowl

The fact that the game would be played in the cold against a dome team at Lambeau Field where they went 7-1 this season should give any reasonable Packer fan warm fuzzies.

To me, this season has outstripped expectations to such a degree...I can't put it in words.

What.  A.  Year.

Nonsense. The QB is 36 and everything has gone the Packers way this season. Gotta take advantage of this golden opportunity.

There have been a lot worse non calls this year even after goddamn reviews.   Quite honestly, that’s how a play should be called.  Some back and forth hand checking like in college.

And if that's the case, change the rule back to the way it was. Simple.

Nonesense.  Glad you have high expectations.

WTF dude.

I was not looking forward to the Packers playing the Saints next week.  Yes, I know they are at home but Hill and Cook would have been a tough matchup and Brees quick passes would have negated the pass rush.

Seattle is dangerous with Wilson but the Packers have had his number.  Philly got the drop on us earlier in the year plus a lot of breaks and missed calls.

Have to give Cousins a little credit- made the plays when he had to.

As much as I hate the Queens (more than any team....in any sport), I have to say Cousins is a humble and respectful guy. Classy in his interview with Chris Meyers.

Both teams are a bit beat up, too.
