Is this the official Super Bowl thread? Good god, you people (TM) need a resident game thread title writer.

Hey, to spice up the game a bit, I was thinking of hosting a game chat much like my high school minion Tom Silverstein does during Packer games. Here’s a test example:

Q: Hey Blair. Long time first time. Hey, I’m worried that todays broadcast and commercials won’t include enough messages of diversity, equity , inclusion and social justice. Should I be concerned?

β€”Congo

A: Fuck-you, Congo.

PM me with your questions, lines are open.

I expect Mahomes to be hassled as the Chiefs' OL can't handle the Eagles' rush, much like what happened when the Chiefs lost to Tampa. We'll see how good Mahomes is at creating on an iffy ankle and if he can hold up. I don't see Hurts throwing for yards, but I think he has a chance to run for a good amount given the Chiefs' D. In all, it will be a tight game until the fourth, and then I see the Eagles pulling away.

Hall of Famer Michael Irvin has been pulled from Super Bowl LVII coverage on NFL Network after a woman complained about Irvin's conduct during a Sunday night encounter in Arizona according to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News.

The encounter reportedly happened in the lobby of Irvin's hotel as he returned from a night out.  Irvin disputed any misconduct in an interview with Gehlken.  β€œHonestly, I’m a bit baffled with it all,” Irvin told Gehlken. β€œThis all happened in a 45-second conversation in the lobby. When I got back after going out . . . I came into the lobby, and I talked to somebody. I talked to this girl. I don’t know her, and I talked to her for about 45 seconds.  We shook hands. Then, I left. . . . That’s all I know.”  Irvin insisted there was nothing sexual about the encounter.

Good, he sometimes gets annoying on the NFL Network show.

Just β€œsometimes” Goldie????

I loved Sharpe as a player as much as anyone, maybe more. But Davante had stretches of equal dominance and has already done it longer. I like Sterling's game more but Adams is more qualified.

I don't know.  Sophie's choice.

Sharpe dominated on bad teams that had little talent. He was basically the only weapon and still couldn't be stopped
