There is balance in many things when Tom and Bill lose Super Bowls. Except when Pete and Bevell thought having the chosen one win it was the right call. That was special.

You take Adam Vinatieri away and who knows what the Pats history looks like.

This week Adam walked onto the set of ESPN and Charles Woodson told him, "Still hate you" and he wasn't trying to be funny. Charles is never letting that tuck rule game go.

a - i hope ATL hangs 50 on the Pats, but don't truly expect it.

2 - ah, don't have a second comment at this point so here's a Favre BWW SB ad.

For whatever we all think of Favre, at least he isn't afraid to poke fun at himself (at least not if he's getting a big paycheck).

Maybe the new BWW commercial could be about Jenn Sterger.

I won't be watching the game. The halftime shows are a joke, the commercials have completely sucked for years, and as far as I'm concerned, the football season ends as soon as the Pack is eliminated. If I weren't a 50 year die-hard fan of the Packers I wouldn't watch the NFL at all anymore. Rooting for the Pack is a hard habit to break. FUNFL and Goodell!

Maybe later when I have more time I'll post how I really feel about it!

Quick story:

During the Packers SB run in 2010, I was trolling the fan boards for the Falcons right before the divisional playoff game there. The boards admins/Mods were BEGGING Falcons fans to show up for the game, on time, and not sell their tickets.

Apparently during home games, it's quite common for Falcon fans to not show up until mid-way through the 1st Q, damn near the start of the 2nd. You know, like baseball?

WTF.

During said divisional game, the Falcons fans left the stdium early.  In between the third and fourth quarters, the NFL brought out the national champions of the "Punt, Pass, and Kick" competition in the various age/sex brackets.  You could hear the fans politely applaud each of the kids, but every time there was one from Wisconsin, you could hear much louder cheering.  I almost felt bad for the kids who weren't from Wisconsin and didn't get as much cheering.

Atlanta isn't a pro baseball town. They had trouble selling out Turner Field for the postseason in the 90s when they had Smoltz, Glavine, Maddux, and Avery.

Atlanta, more to the point Georgia, is all about College sports, the SEC and the ACC.

I'd bet Georgia Tech baseball is a bigger thing in Georgia than the Braves.

Yeah it was hilarious. We were there for the game early that season where the Falcons won and the Falcons fans talked a lot of sh*t. We went back for the playoff game and they were all over us. They busted our balls pretty good, not too bad compared to what I've heard from some other stadiums though. They were really full of themselves right before halftime, several people went to the bathroom when Tramon returned the INT for a TD. They didn't realize what happened and the look on their face when we explained it was PRICELESS. They all started to bail in the 3rd quarter and by the 4th all you could hear was GO PACK GO. The Falcon fans had emptied the stadium so much so that all the Packer fans moved down behind the benches and looked to be giving the Falcons a ton of sh*t. Packer fans packed he MARTA afterward and we yelled GO PACK GO all the way to our stop. It was a beautiful night. Bandwagon fans through and through, the south is like that for pro teams though.
