He missed three fucking FGs and an extra point.

So what is your point?  He had made 27 in a row. Missed 3 in a row.  27divided by 30 is 90%.  His career average is 81.6%.  What in the hell are you bitching about?  Jesus Fucking Christ, We won!!!!

Speaking of Amari… would be nice to see him get going on offense. Isn’t he supposed to be a dynamic athlete?

He was wide open a couple times today. 12 needs to throw to him, problem is he’s mostly focused on 17 and 18.

The point is that he was terrible today. You seem upset.

It’s all about wins with you, isn’t it? What about the power of the commitment. Is Crosby really committed to making kicks?

+Fox had game so I watched big screen in our hotel suite.

A win and no style points given in the NFL.

Defense overall but situationally they need to clean it up (Savage needs to make the play and RZ continues to be an issue).

Adams and Campbell

Crosby for hitting the game-winner.

Special teams. Seeing some speculation that the FG protection got into Mason's head and don't buy it. Just one of those games like the one against the Lions several years ago.

Offense was disjointed, especially in the second half and too many opportunities for Mason. No reason for MLF to get as conservative as he did after the pick.

What’s going on with Tonyan this year? Seems like he’s not getting many targets this year. And yes, he has had a few throws his way that didn’t get caught.

Rodgers wants Davante to get paid this offseason so he’s pushing the ball to only him. 😀

But seriously I think it’s just a case of how the game has flowed. OL has needed TE helps, teams probably covering him with a DB instead of LB now, he’s just not getting open.

In Adams presser he said he knew he was going to have a big game based on the Bengals coverage scheme and the ways that MLF & AR had game planned for him to get single coverage. They rightfully feel like it is a "win" if he gets single coverage, AR knows it pre snap, so that is where he is looking.

Looks like the EKG for a heart attack!

Seemed like a really balanced performance yesterday.

Offense came up with big plays but couldn't get it in the EZ enough.

Defense came up with big plays but couldn't keep it out of the EZ enough.

ST missed 3 opportunities to win the game but made the last one to win.

Yeah I mean the idea of spreading the ball around is great, but on any given play I want the ball in the hands of Rodgers, Adams, or Jones as much as possible. Pepper in the other guys to keep teams off balance, but the offense should flow through Aaron, Aaron, and Adams…AAA

Lazard seems to have lost looks to Cobb.  But he's blocking his ass off so he's good.

About Amari not getting any looks on O, he hasn't looked all that impressive with the ball in his hands on returns.  But maybe more significant was the comment AR made (repeated on the broadcast yesterday) that he "needed a savvy vet like Cobb working the slot, not some first year guy".  Or something like that.

Amari is getting reps so that's a good thing. Maybe at some point he will get the ball. You need to do it occasionally on those jets sweeps if you want to make it effective.

Yes very odd A. Rodgers has not gotten the ball once on the jet sweep this season.

They used that play with castoffs and slow as molasses Lazard in past years ... to good effect.

PS biggest win in Iowa City since October 19, 1985?

Watched the condensed version of the game this morning.  Our D is improving every week.   Good push from the interior, the no name OLB's played well and the ILB's were flying around.

If you take away the strange play for 7 were Savage should have had a pick or at minimum a knock down, they give up 14 points yesterday.   Even with that play, 22 points allowed is a number where you expect your offense to win you the game.

Oh yeah, no doubt about. Was quite the scene Saturday. There's gonna be a lot of babies born 9 months from now.

If their QB doesn't get injured I'm not sure Iowa was going to hang with them but they usually play Pedophile U tough no matter what.

Never said Amari Rodgers was fast.

But the Amari who ran a 4.52 (40) in 2021 is certainly faster than the Allen Lazard who ran a 4.55 back in 2018.

As for Davante, he has never been fast for a WR.

He is, however, quick as hell and can jump out of the gym, two physical attributes that, along with his dedication to route running and overall approach to his craft, more than make up for his lack of speed. (Couldn't quite make out Davante 's 3-cone does it say 6.82 compared to Lazard's 7.11?)

Finally, I like Lazard in his role as a glorified 2nd or 3rd TE, he blocks like hell and that is important in MLF's offense.

But that does not change the fact that he is a slow WR and not much of a receiving threat unless he is schemed open ... because, ya know he ain't fast and he ain't quick.
