Super talant, but repeated drug problems, despite the mentoring. Finally booted from the LSU team.
He's an unrefined hobbit with a bad attitude, pass. The guy makes T-Buck look like AL Harris both in size and demeanor.
So I'm guessing that means you would pass? 
I'd roll the dice on him if he's around in the late 5th round or lower. If this actually happened, would have been nice to have Woodson around to set an example.

I don't see him making it as a corner at the NFL level. He's giving away too much size.
His skill set makes him an interesting ST weapon though. If he's able to show he can make plays on punts and KO's like Bush has done, he might add more value than Bush does for GB based on his ability to step in and be the KO and punt return guy as well. The singular skill he has that will translate in the NFL is as a return guy. He's a playmaker in the return game that takes the injury risk away from Cobb and Ross. And while I like the flashes that Ross has shown in returns, If Jennings departs it would be tough to see a young WR lost to a ST injury.
No idea if he's as capable of coverage in the kicking game as Bush has been. But if he's close (his agressiveness may be a huge plus here) and he's able to handle all return duties, that's adding value without a lot of risk.

I'd take him on day 3. Absolutely. Sam Shields has turned into a pretty good Db, and he didn't have half the pedigree that Mathieu has. Best place in he world for him is GB.
Bring him in and shack him up with Jolly... I'm sure it would fine.
He's going to be in same boat as Vontaze Burfict. Burfict was a first round talent who went undrafted because he was so unpredictable. Mathieu is ridiculously unpredictable. Like I said in another thread, the boom is a Cortland Finnegan/Antoine Winfield like scrapper and the bust is Pacman Jones. If he's undrafted I would definitely bring him in, but his skills are not THAT exceptional that he's worth wasting a draft pick.
Draft picks are too valuable to TT to waste one on the guy.

But Winfield had good technique, worked hard, had great character and was very fluid in his drop/transition.

Wash and repeat. He has said he's done with drugs before and it didn't pan out. If he can't stop using after more than 10 negative tests, then I can't see him stopping anytime soon. As a GM I'd want to see him clean for more than eight months before I spent a pick on him, especially since he's small to begin with and hasn't played in awhile.
And yes, if that's true then LSU has a lot of explaining to do. How does a kid stay eligible, much less the team/school allowing him to play and not getting him treatment?
