Very interesting chart. Not surprised to see Hou, Atl, and N O that high based on the fact there play so many games in domes.  Surprised to see Cle and G B that high based on they play about 1/3 of home games in potentially crappy weather.  But Cheatriots, yah, off the chart.

Perhaps not, but Miguel was mucho impressed that each NFL team were able to use their own balls. That's the main reason soccer sucks  besides, you know, the fact that Americans are really bad at it.  Those silly saps use the same ball for both teams. Ridiculous!  If those stupid foreigners could afford more than one ball...

A bit off topic  but I once bowled in an ABC bowling tournament (amateurs) and all of our bowling balls were weighed ,measured, and CHECKED FOR HARDNESS before we could bowl.  And none of us bowling were professionals.

I know that I am rooting for the Pats in the Super Bowl because of this. Because of this we are not really hearing anything about Seattle, and the comeback they had, which makes me throw up a little everytime.

It's kind of a perfect storm for a Pats win.

Seattle loses. Pats win another by cheating again and never hear the end of it. The hoodie might call it a career.

That ain't bad.

Same here guys.  Brady's already got 3, 1 more isn't going to change his legacy much and the cheating aspect will always follow him.

Meanwhile, if those clowns from Seattle win we'll continue to hear what a winner Rusty Wilson is plus they'll have a chance to go for 3 in a row.  No thanks.

@TonyDungy: Yesterday on ProFootballTalk I said I might tell players 2 fake injury versus Patriots substitutions. TOTALLY wrong on my part. I apologize!

Sort of related, TCTD made this year's semifinalist level for the HoF. Shows what good media relations get you. Undeserving.

This would implicate Belicheat even more so than Brady. Will there be someone shouting out cheater!! at their Hall of Fame induction? Very unpleasant business for Patriot players, ex-players and fans. Stench will never go away.

Really good at cheating, really bad at hiding it. What's the saying? As soon as more than one person knows a secret, it is no longer a secret. Or something like that.

Patriots about to start a not previously scheduled press conference. Wonder which ball boy is getting fired? Will be streamed at patriots.com

EDIT: It's Billy B. Also on NFL Network

Bizarre Hoodie science class presser to prove he's not a cheater.

League warns Seattle that every time Marshawn Lynch grabs his dick its a 15 yard penalty.

I'd say the lead up to the Super Bowl couldn't possibly be going any worse but these two teams have another week. The NFL would hit the reset button right now if it could.

Remember the SI article in December when Tom wanted SI to know every aspect of his life was planned months in advance. Every meal. Every workout. Sleep. Cognitive brain excersizes. Everything. And that excessive attention to every last detail was going to help him play 10 more years.

But he has no idea how 11 of those 12 footballs he hand picked were under-inflated In a championship game.

Sorry if I think he's completely full of ****.

I guess there's two ways of looking at this.

Goodell has carefully managed to weave subplots and story lines into one of the most media covered Superbowl weeks of all time leading to record ratings and he's a ****ing genius.

Or he's completely lost control of everything and all of us are watching his one man Multi Billion dollar car crash play out over 15 days and no one can look away.

Either way. everyone involved in the ratings game is winning huge this week.

But no, it's not gonna happen.

Very interesting read.

So maybe we shouldn't assume it was done at Brady's request.  Fumble reduction could point back to the coaching staff.

There is absolutely no way the footballs would be deflated, inflated, roughed up, buffed, or whatever without Brady approving somehow of the end product. He may not have given the order but no coach in New England is altering game balls without Brady's knowledge. That's more a Cleveland or JAX level of operation.
