+Take away AR's 5 rushes and 27 yds they still had 27 carries and 125 yds or so.
-Need to catch the ball and need more of the quick rhythm passes.
+The D looked real good, the young d backs are players.
+The refs across the league seem to have gotten the word as how to call the new rule and the players are playing it as they have been asked too. Too bad the first few weeks were so ****ed up.
+ A wn is a win.
- The offense is still a hot mess.
+ Defense (against a suspect QB).
- Vickings didn't play the Rams again today. Any day the Vicklings lose is a good day.
- MM. I mean c'mon!!!
+ The defense seemed to step up and there was no gashing by a big QB. The defense limited the run and pass game. The â Fack attackâ led all OLBs in a successful pass rush.
- Even with winning by 22 points the offense left a lot out on the field. We donât have enough quality WRs. And I donât have to say anything about the choice of personnel on RB...

Oh. Oh, please do. Please.

Everyone else have already done a pretty good job.
OK dude. Just run with that.
+the RB committee
+ defensive domination against an offense we should dominate
+ #80 got a Lambeau Leap
+ AR12 moving without a limp
- dropped too many beautiful passes
- The running play on third and long after the timeout.
The offense is as Aaron says a work in progress.
Don't know what to say about the D other than it was great to see the shutout.

And the WR screen on 3rd and 15 in the 2nd half. Other than that it was a decently called game and a great game plan.
+ Angry bald man sending pressure late in the 4th to preserve the shutout instead of laying down. It sends a message and I love it.
+ winning some matchups. â not executing the catches
âstuttering offense. + aggressive defense
Hard to believe Buffalo took it to the Vikings last week. Not sure if today was a let-down day by a bad Buffalo team or just that our D finally played up to Pettineâs standards. Our O... a square block of granite when weâre used to a marble statue... itâs in there somewhere...
I think that Aaron may have a drinking problem, He said, âI'm happy. I'm excited to go home and have a scotch or two.â He seem to like his scotch a lot!
- The more I watch the Saints, I'm convinced that 1st round draft pick we get from them will be in the high 20s or maybe even in the 30s. Was hoping they'd slide back this year, but they look good. Unless Brees goes down, we're not going to get a high pick from them.
- We won the game, but man does our offense look shaky. Thank God the Bills defenders have butterfingers or they would have had minimum 2 more INTs today.
+ I wish every game were refereed like this one. The refs didn't make every little touchy call, and I commend them for it.
- Saw something about several injuries... Allison and Alexander. Anyone else and any news on how bad the injuries were?
+ We didnât need AR to carry the team to victory
- We donât play Josh Allen every week. He looked like Brett Farve if Farve didnât understand an NFL Offense and has no accuracy.
So what you're saying is Josh Allen looked like Brett Hundley?
+ a win is a win.
+ 12 is alive, i need to see him next week...shelfish reasons.
+ wt facckrell?
+ defense all together. 42 makes things work, i saw a bunch of times, where he made the right calls and we got to the qb because of it. 52, 93, 76 all looked good.
- 81 hope he's up next week.

They have the same number of TD passes at Lambeau...
I was in GB last week visiting family and went to TitleTown Brewery for dinner. The brown ale, forgot the name, is out of this world good. You locals need to go get you some.
The run Williams had where he needed two yards for the first down, was smothered behind the line of scrimmage and still got the first down.

Warts and all, it's a (home) win.
Players stepping as they are expected to. Finally.
Rookies.
The Dad that had his (looked to be) less than a year old son right in big middle of the action on Graham's LL. Baby's HUGE smile was priceless!

Roughly midway through the 2nd quarter, the focus of the offense went away. I don't think the play calls necessarily changed, and it wasn't MM "taking his foot off the throttle"; it was like the players relaxed and were mostly going through the motions more than playing with passion.
2nd week in a row Kendricks has tried to catch a pass with his hands in an unorthodox, if not incorrect, position. Need to get that fixed.
'Chippy' play and a stupid UC penalty.

Nah, I think more Deshone Kizer

Granted, it was against Buffalo and a rookie QB, but I wanted a high-level complete game from the defense, so I was happy. After seeing what Allen and Buffalo did to the Vikings last week, I was a little hesitant this week. Pettine dialed up some great pressure that confused Allen, and the D carried out their assignments. All in all, today's D helped rescue the offense, and when was the last time we could say that?
This Probably needs itâs own thread. But looking at what the Ravens are doing to the Steelers showed me what an innovative coach can do. I donât expect that but câmon Mike, show something different for a change. I reread Aaronâs post game interview. Rodgers is pissed and it might be at MMs tepid game plan or some of his coaching. I guess itâs a neggie after a good win.https://www.packersnews.com/st...solution/1460039002/
Allen looked 'weird' to me today. He was in a hurry to find the ground when pressure started building and would just give up on the play and wait to be ruled down by contact.
Not that I'm kvetching. It just looked unnatural.

Defense. Really liked what I saw but the previous DC had a history of good performances against young and average QBs and a wait-and-see approach is prudent.

Offense. AR wasn't particularly sharp and too many mistakes and a lack of any sort of rhythm. Pretty clear AR isn't happy and it's something that has to be fixed and quickly.
It was a great match up for us with King out since Buffalo's WRs have to be the worst in the league. Don't really know what to make of AR's presser. Hard to say if he was pissed at himself for missing opportunities or not happy with how MM developed the plan to create opportunities.
+/- Some rookie mistakes didn't really hurt them. Add in had Martinez not taken off his helmet, Alexander still gets the flag and Jackson had a pair of penalties around the opposition's helmets. Not a bad way/time for some growing pains.
The offense is as Aaron says a work in progress.
Why does it always seem to be mid-season before our offense clicks?

That is a good question. It is only my opinion for this season but I think some of it has to do with young receivers, new guys, some injuries on the OL and of course #12s knee.
I am not sure how to take Aaron's comments either and non of us know what is going on behind the scenes. But if I had to guess I think its a case of the ultimate competitor in Rodgers who seeks perfection and the team was far from it.
FLPACKER posted:Hard to say if he was pissed at himself for missing opportunities or not happy with how MM developed the plan to create opportunities.
My guess would be a bit of both. He knows he missed some and a pretty strong implication from the presser that he's less than pleased with MM's gameplan.
+ Our Defense looked like it could stop anybody. Fackrell had a good game. Jimmy Graham got a TD. Love Jaire and Josh at CB. A nice INT by HHCD. Scott punted well. Valdes Scantling catches a long pass, in stride, from ARod. Our RBs looked good, most of the game. I watched the game with friends and a viking fan, who offered up some crap on ARod, but otherwise was quiet, most of the time. I think he knows his vikings have been exposed. I'm glad we didn't play the Bills team that put a whooping on the vikings. Nice to see Micah Hyde again. No RTP penalties.
- ARod threw some bad passes. Too many drops when ARod threw good passes. GMO looked like Cobb from last week. Running on 3rd and long. Where are the plays for the TEs on 3rd and long? Where was Marcedes Lewis, again? Officials stopping a quick rhythm play because they were not in position. Why weren't they in position? The ball was put in play. Amazing. Aaron needs to participate in practice more to get our offense in tune.
More MVS please.
- I know AR's a god and all, but as has been said, looked a little rough at times in this game. That should have been a pick six and I'm not seeing where he could blame anyone else for that. I have to think that after a couple of those runs the knee was getting sore by the start of the second half.
+ Nice win for the defense. Hope this means guys are getting comfortable with their roles, Pettine seem to be getting things sorted out. Martinez, please keep your hat on. Although D played hard today, there's no margin of error with these guys.
+ AR hooks up with MVS, would love to see this guy become a regular part of the offense.
- Although happy to see JG get his first score with the Pack, I'm still waiting to see him show that he's playing any different than when he was "misused" by Seattle.
