Anybody remember that kid who was so ****ing smart he was bored to **** and usually underperformed?
If we're going to use bad analogies I figured I'd throw that log on the fire.

Still pissed about Jordy I guess.
Jordy would have caught that sideline pass that G-Mo dropped.
and both GMO and Jordy would have been out of bounds after catching it.
Neg- lack of stellar offense and gameplan
Pos-Perhaps the above will be addressed because of Aaron bitching about it.
Some of that flow problem has to be owned by AR. He missed more than a few passes. Granted there were dropsies too (can't wait til december...).
I want one screen a week to Jones and Monty
+ it's now legal to hit the QB when he has the ball in his hands.
Listen again to this presser. https://www.packers.com/video/...output-against-bills
There are both positive and negative points but he really seems to slam the gameplan. I wonder who put that together? Was it Philbin or was it MM?

McCarthy could have easily and justifiably stood up there and said our QB and WRs need to play better. If 12 thinks 17 should be targeted 20 times, then he should do it. He's got the ball in his hands. 40 attempts yesterday. Haven't looked at the snap counts yet, but I'll bet 17 was in for 70 plays.
Somebody with All-22 access can confirm, but I thought I saw open receivers all over the place yesterday.
While I haven't seen the all 22's, my seats are in the North End Zone, so I have a sort of all 22 look.
Yes, receivers were open, 12 didn't see them or went somewhere else with it.
Every time that happens, I would get mad, then I remember I'm 15 rows up, about, 20 feet above the field and I don't have pissed off 300 pound angry men chasing me.....
What about pissed off 300 pound angry women?

It definitely was not a good game for Rodgers. If he played at this level consistently, the Pack would be in a lot of trouble. We'll just call it a bad day at the office for Rodgers and hopefully this was just an off game and he picks it up next week. He definitely has not been the dominant QB in the NFL so far, but there's certainly time to get back to that level at some point if he can keep that knee healthy.

I'll agree with you. Was at the game. I thought MM called a great game for the offense. That the offense didn't deliver was on the players. Folks were running free all day.
I only saw parts of the game but I think the announcers pointed that out too. Receivers always open at the top of the play.
A Jones looks like the player Jonathan Franklin was supposed to be before he was knocked out of football. What little Jones gives up to Franklin in short area elusiveness he makes up for with more power.
Pretty damming first hand info from you guys at the game. He, they, need to pick it up.

I was at the game and saw it all day. Hyde left early and their DBs looked lost once he was gone.
So "we do what we do" & it would have worked if AR would allow it?

Them too. Especially them.
For those of you who were at the game or seen an all 22, who was at fault with the missed plays to the âopenâ WRs? In the post game presser Aaron was pissed about something? Was it his own play or was it the play that was called?
MM post game: Love Aaron's toughness, ability to play hurt. Desire to be out there is great for the team, great for the locker room.
AR post game: I had a bad game and it's not my fault.
+ Brewers playing for NLC title...I listened to that game yesterday
+ Watched replay of Packers game so I could listen to Brewers game instead and not spend three hours in a bar up in Wyoming.
+ Fackrell...finally!
+ DBs were good...against a rookie QB...but still good
+ Rodgers seemed to be moving well in pocket and was smiling a lot during game
+ Jones and Williams make a good set of RBs
- I chose to listen to Brewers game
- I chose not to listen/watch the Packers since I was away from home
- Packers offense looked flimsy and lacked flow...dull performance and boring game
- Same old stale and offensive game plan
- Rodgers was not smiling after the game
- Jimmy Graham could be better; tips and drops and fumbles
- GMO drops

Brak, I had to think about your take. Rodgers was so ambiguous that both my take (MM sucks) and yours could be right. And that Aaron wanted to be be ambiguous at a presser. Afterward he drank a bottle of scotch and shouted to the wall what he really meant.
- Usually after games 12 talks about having a scotch. This time it was multiple. I think he has a drinking problem. I blame Danica.
Henry posted:More MVS please.
IDK, have to be careful with him, yes had the 38 yard gain but also did not come back to the ball on 4th and 3 and almost cost us a pick 6. Difficult to play rookie WRs in this offense.

Only if you are at a Vikings game

Only if you are at a Vikings game the 2 purple sacks' basement.
++++++ a physical defense held the Bills to 8 punts and 3 turnovers on their first 11 drives Kyler Fackrell had 3 sacks even Clay Matthews was credited for half a sack.
- - - - - Geronimo Allison questionable for week 5 vs Detroit.

Why does it always seem to be mid-season before our offense clicks?
I think part of it is that AR takes limited reps and plays a series or two, at best, in the entire preseason. NFL offenses are all about timing, being in the right spot at the right time and being in sync with one another. Itâs tough to do that when the QB is standing on the sidelines or not participating in practice due to injuries.
Thereâs also an obvious rift going on between AR and MM on offensive philosophy.
Itâs MMâs last year in GB anyhow so no big deal.
Admit it, if I had told you before the season that ...
1. The Packers and Browns would have an identical record at this point in the season, and
2. The Bears would be in first place, and only 1 team in the league would have a better record than them (possibly none after the MNF game tonight),
you would say NO WAY!
(Game wasnât shown in our area. I hope that doesnât become the norm again.)

I think the media is making this "rift" bigger than it is. I didn't interpret Rodgers comments the way they are making them out to be. To me, it seemed like he was saying he needed to play better.
Possible, but typically our Beat writers would not come out as strongly as they did on this unless they had other similar info that they have not printed. These guys have a lot of info that they never print in order to preserve their relationships with sources. Back when it was easier to find emails, I would correspond with some of our beat writers. They know a lot of stuff that they never print.
- Rodgers drives me nuts letting the play clock run down to the last second and then pissing away a timeout.
That and 12 going deep back to back when a check down first down to burn clock was in order.
Ugly win but I'll take it.
How talented is Fackrell? Even his bad plays result in sacks. #FackSh*tUp
Only Kyler Fackrell could manage a negative grade on a play he was credited for a sack on.
â Andy Herman (@SconnieSports) October 2, 2018
(For the record Fackrell never touched him, Allen tripped over his own lineman and it should have been a play on).
This is why you canât always trust a box score ; ) pic.twitter.com/PLtJ2itmZZ
Yeah, not sure why people are that excited by Fackrell. The RT he beat was Spriggs like. Well, I guess that's progress considering he probably couldn't beat Spriggs in TC either.
If I had to venture a guess, Fackrell will become invisible again.
I donât care what packer gets a sack, just as long as somebody does it. The âFack Attackâ was a pleasant surprise and a bit of an amusement.
Fackrell sacks happened during what can best be compared to garbage time in the pre-season. Game was over and Buffalo had slapped a stamp on the game and mailed it in. Looked very Jayrone Elliott like.
