IIRC, mine arrived via FedEx. It was in one of those cardboard envelopes that 'zips' open at the top. It contained the certificate and all associated paperwork.
If memory is still serving, I think they include a pamphlet that has some framing options that can be ordered for the certificate.

He does not understand the Packer Nation and the relationship the fans have with the team. While I dont share his sentiment, I cant justify the purchase my self.
I go to 2 games a year with my Gold package tickets and easily spend $275 dollars on the weekend. So it just means I went to 1 extra game this year.
I think the Vikings spent more than $250 on Favre.
I'm a proud owner now.

Anyone know how these are sent? UPS, Fedex? I would think the $25 would cover something more than the postal service. I would like to have them by Christmas.
Guaranteed to be delivered by Christmas if ordered online by Dec 16, and Dec 12 if ordering by mail.
Two-day delivery is what I read somewhere
Got home from work, logged in, read the statement (though it didn't tell me anything I didn't know), clicked on, filled out the information and grinned widely.
No lag, no problems loading anything. I have my confirmation number.
Now I have 1 share to display and one to keep tucked away.
F**kineh I love the GREEN BAY PACKERS!

Except that you didn't.
Worked like a charm here in VA

When it all comes down to it, I can easily afford it.
I still haven't received my confirmation e-mail. I wonder if I can call someone about it. They did charge my card, but it just doesn't seem official until I receive my e-mail.

I have not recieved an E-mail confirmation either but I did get a confirmation number when I completed the forms. I wonder if that is all I need or maybe the process failed.
I got an e-mail from the Packers that morning but that was just announcing the stock sell with links to Packers.com. I hope I don't miss the boat.

I have the confirmation number too. When did you purchase yours? It has been over 24 hours for me.

Ditto here. I ordered mine around 5:30 PM (eastern time). It was a pretty smooth and fast transaction. Maybe the e-mail confirmation system is bogged down or I typed in ".com" instead of ".net" for my e-mail addy which has been known to happen in the past (shrug).
I'm not goning to sweat it too much, I could always use my CC statement as proof of purchase.

Well, I guess we have to wait. I think I would be more worried if I was the ONLY one that didn't receive confirmation.
I wouldn't worry about the emails... but that's just me.
Four minutes to fill out & purchase, no problems.
WOOT!!!, I'm now an NFL Owner.
Between ownership of an NFL Team and my 1777 acres of land on the Moon, I am really rolling in equity.....

Maybe they stopped the email thing.
I received a confirmation number from the purchase site at the completion of the transaction.

My confirmation e-mail just popped into my inbox. My son and I are both proud (partial) owners of the world's best football team and best run sports organization.
I'm a little surprised to see all the somewhat negative reaction to the stock sale from some in the media. People understand what they're getting and it's not an investment for monetary return.

I didn't know the quote feature was a no-no. Anyway, I called and everyone who hasn't received an e-mail confirmation should just hang loose. They are backed up. They sold a **** load yesterday. That is pretty cool. I will leave this rest now.
THanks for the update, Troy. Was thinking about calling myself, but will hold tight. As long as we got the confirmation #, things are fine IMO
quote:They sold 80 million dollars worth just yesterday.
umm, no they didn't.
from Rosenthal at PFT (I hope he did his numbers correctly):
250,000 shares are available overall, which means the Packers can (and probably will) make $62.5 million from the stock sale by the time itβs over.
Tdog,
Yeah, I just did some math and 80 million is impossible since they are only selling 250,000 shares. I must have heard wrong. My bad.

I think $8mil is about where they are at. I saw a $7mil figure from yesterday's sale somewhere.
edit: not bad for a day's "work"

Murphy was on CNBC last night and I think they stated they hoped to sell 80,000 shares.
My two sons are now part owners of the greatest run franchise in sports. I filled out the form about 30 minutes ago and I got my email confirmation within two minutes.
I have to admit, I spent most of yesterday trying to convince myself that it was a waste of money to spend $500 on two pieces of paper, but this is something that they can hold onto for the rest of their lives. This stock will last much longer than any of their toys have.
And as for various members of the media having a problem with this whole stock thing, I'd rather give my team a one-time $500 gift than root for a team whose state doesn't seem to want them and an owner who might decide to pick up and move to L.A.

Anyone have buyer's remorse? PM me. I am planning a takeover. Want to buy 51% of the shares. LA, here we come.

Reminds me of my favorite presidential story:
Calvin Coolidge was known as 'Silent Cal" due to his dearth of conversational skills. At a state dinner, he was seated next to a very chatty matron who said to him, "Mr. President, I have a wager with a friend that I will get at least three words out of you tonight."
His response:
"You lose"

Don't buy If you like Poker. If you own a pro team, you can't come within a ten foot pole of a whiff of the smoke of gambling. Will play 3's and 9's are wild if it's 5 card stud.
I just called the above phone number and confirmed that I am a proud owner of the Green Bay Packers. I gave them my confirmation number and adress and was told it did go through. I asked why I did not get an e-mail about it and was told if I needed it to call back with e-mail address with confirm numder in hand. She said that was not necessary though since I had my number or something like that. She assured me though it did go through so I am not worried anymore. Thanks guys for all your help!!
I checked for Blair Kiel and they told me that there was a hold on that purchase due to a bad connection or something to do with a Peggy" ??

Packers say they have sold 185,000 of the 250,000 shares of stock that are being offered. That's about $43 millon raised so far.
