Fine, even though I'm 100's of miles from home and drunk, I will start it.

Paws

Daniels, peppers, Lattimore.. Dominated.

Tramon, run support was outstanding!

Lacy got his groove back.  (Between the tackles in traditional set)

Jordy, what's new?  Top 5 WR in NFL.

Neg.

Flylnn = ponder. Maybe I was too harsh on TT during that stretch last year.

Lambeau looked awesome even in the rain.

Rodgers and Co

Defense finally got after it

Why can't they blitz like that all the time?   Or even half the time?

Lacy runs like a bull unleashed

LBs: Peppers, Matthews, Lattimore

Team seemed to be really pulling for each other:  Offense and Defense players were yukking it up a lot on the sidelines.

Not hearing Jennings name until almost mid-third quarter.

Jennings drop

Bads

Actually found myself feeling sorry of Ponder and wanted him to play better

Offense got kinda sloppy in the second quarter

Matt Flynn looked atrocious

How come D Harris didn't get some carries?

Rodgers still holds on to the ball too much

Turf looked good and held up well, but still got chewed up from the water
Hawk was out of position on Ponders TD run

Actually I think he is top dog this year so far.  No?

He was #1 coming in to tonight. Through 5 games now: 34 catches for 525 yards and 4 T.

He's drawing close to that magical 50 TD mark. The Packers are tied with the Colts, iirc, for the most players scoring 50 TD. Jordy now has 40. At this rate, he might get 50 this year.

Julius Peppers.  Holy crap.  Put him at TE.  Freak.

He has some wheels, doesn't he?

I think he lost some weight before the season started. It showed. He's always been quick, but that take it to the house speed was a complete shock to me.

I've been very critical of him but have to give him his due- don't believe I've ever seen Morgan Burnett play better. He can keep that up and he'll shut a lot of fans up.

Didn't care for the second-quarter offensive lull, but the only real negative of note was the absolutely horrible pick thrown by Flynn.

According to chatroom denizens.  Tonight anyway.  Previously a lynchmob on the very same.

I might have been involved.

Chatroom has really been fun.  Y'all oughta stop in for a pop.

Right, because I wanted  Lacy to fail.

Positives:  Thumping the team I hate like no other and doing it in every part of the game.

Lacy running like a bowling ball and the OL run blocking

Turnovers!  Man it is nice to be getting them again.

Negatives:  The Packers didn't score 42 more on them (have I mentioned my utter hate of the Vikings?)

and you make the chat room fun Pistol.

Thursday Night games never seem to be quite as smooth as a game with an entire week of recovery and preparation. This game went probably better than I had anticipated from an overall standpoint but the defense in that second quarter made it impossible for the queens to do anything.

+Better Run blocking

+Better run production

+Ponder. Very Cutleresque in his play against the Packers.

+Perry making some plays

-Stretch and long developing run plays that continue to go nowhere unless Starks is running them.

-TE coverage still virtually nonexistent.

-Matthews (continued) lack of significant impact plays this season

-

It was only the second-biggest margin of victory in Thursday Night Football history.

I really wanted to feel bad for Christian Ponder. By all accounts he's a nice guy, fans have been beyond brutal to him and his wife. he has gotten help help and his confidence is completely shot, it's not his fault he was drafted a round too high and thrown in before he was ready because McWormburner was so bad, but dang it if he isn't wearing purple.

I've been very critical of him but have to give him his due- don't believe I've ever seen Morgan Burnett play better.

only reason I stopped in this thread.  best game I've ever seen him have!

Something clicked with this team at halftime of the Bears game.

Hopefully just took a few games to get everything together.

With the Dolphins and Panthers up next , good opportunities

for the D to keep it going.

+++ Got tickets to the Panthers game at Lambeau for my birthday yesterday! Woot!

In the "I never thought I'd see this, but it sure was awesome" category: Julius Peppers doing the Lambeau Leap. Who'da thunk that? Loved that Burnett pointed him in the right direction to make sure he did the leap!

Positives:

Everything.  Was nice to see the kid elevated from the practice squad, Luther Robinson shore up the D-Line at least for 1 day.  Pennel is starting to play more as well.  Perhaps those guys can stop more of the bleeding that's been happening in run defense so far this year.

Negatives:

I wish the Pack could face Christian Ponder with the Vikes for a few more seasons, but sadly I think at best they might face him 1 more time, and most likely 0 more times with the Vikes.

Saw Rodgers and Stupid face hitting each other on the sideline early in the game, seems those tensions are really getting to the surface.  Didn't notice those two talking much either.

+ Nelson with another big TD play, over 500 receiving yards on the season.

+ Lacy looking like an all-pro.

+ Starks running hard as always

+ Aaron was on fire from the get go, set the tone for the offense

+ Peppers cutting back to the left after the INT and putting on the afterburners for the TD

+ Defense getting pressure and sacks, looked much more aggresive

+ Spec teams looked solid

+ Minimal penalties, other than Bulaga's can't seem to recall any other

+ Peppers and Adams doing their inaugural Lambeau Leaps

+ Whipping ass on two divisional opponents in the span of about 100 hours

GB runs the no huddle because MM is convinced they'll share humorous stories of him if they do.

I think AR and MM should go on a picnic this weekend. Maybe toss a tennis ball around and just talk things out.

++

66 - 0, from late 2nd qtr vs CHI to early 4th qtr vs MIN.

--

Can't think of any neg's from last night. Maybe the run DEF in the first half where Asiata had some success, 12 for 52, 4.3 avg. Of course that was off-set by Sister Christian's 8 of 18 for 60 yds w/2 picks.

Rain was the 12th man...words you will rarely hear repeated from Phil Simms (or anyone) "the Packers speed on defense is too much for the Vikings."

When Ed runs north, he does good things. When he goes sideways, bad things happen.

AR seemed a bit off at times...probably wet ball I am guessing.

Pleased with the win, but when you have the top QB in the league, and the same head coach for 8 years, this is what veteran teams should do to bad teams, or rebuilding teams.

Honestly, even if Cassel or Bilgewater were in, the outcome would have been similar...maybe a bit closer, but I am thinking 42-24.

The DL was outstanding at times...really like the push the fatties were getting. F Guion...Pennel and Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuther were whipping ass.

I still say Miami game is a good benchmark...don't care how bad Miami may or may not be...we have never done well in the state of Florida. Hopefully 10 days to prep will help.

No biggie, but if I saw it correctly, the Rodgers TD pass to Nelson was released by Rodgers at the 25 and caught by Nelson at the 18 for a net distance of 57 yards.

Awesome pass.  And Nelson sure is a stud.
