Former Wisconsin Badgers running back Melvin Gordon has informed the Los Angeles Chargers that he wants to be traded if he doesn't get a new deal before training camp.
Do you want him on the Green Bay Packers? What would you be willing to give up
I realize it's the offseason. But these jokers (hosts) are talking about giving up 2 first round picks and then giving him a 4 year deal (to match Rodgers length) and put Gordon in the top 5 money-wise. OR trading Aaron Jones as a package with a 1st round pick.
Stats RE: Gordon
Only 3 NFL running backs averaged 70+ rushing YPG and 40+ receiving YPG in 2018:
1. Todd Gurley
2. Saquon Barkley
3. Melvin Gordon
Of those 3, Gordon was the ONLY one who averaged MORE than 6.0 yards per TOUCHSince 2016, Melvin Gordon’s production:
* 28 rushing TD, T-2nd most in the NFL
* 10 receiving TD, T-4th most amongst RB
* 38 TD from scrimmage, 2nd most in the NFL
A versatile, workhorse back. Will be interesting to see how LA values the RB position in this caseIn 28 games, Gordon has fumbled once.
Big news out of LA.
Melvin Gordon's the owner of the league's third-highest overall grade from a season ago and was actually THE HIGHEST-GRADED RB against stacked boxes (8+ defenders) in 2018.
Anyone think Gutenheimer would make this move?
