Rodgers: Packers' championship window "has a chance to open up and be really bright for four, five years."

“If you’d have told our offense that our defense was going to hold them to 23 points, everybody would have said we’d have won.”

“We could have put our defense in a little better situation if we’d have put seven on the board there (on the last drive)."

“Right now, it feels pretty emptyâ€Ķ There is still something special about the way it ended in the regular season.”

“Every time I see Randall, I can’t help but smile/think about Chicago game.”

“This is one of my proudest years I’ve ever been part of. Proud to be a Green Bay Packer."

“Collarbone is feeling good. I just had 2 games instead of 17 in a row to wear on me.”

“This is going to be an important offseason for me.” Set “high expectations” for physical conditioning.

"Expect to be in phenomenal shape in August. I'm going to be ready to play and I'm going to be in shape."

Likes to read to the band Explosions in the Sky. “Amazing music.”     Austin band! Very good listen.

On Packers free agents: "Not apprehensive. Trust our leadership. Lot of good things happened. We found out who were players."

"There's some guys deserving of contracts. I know Ted and Mike are going to bring back the players that can help us win."

On EDS: "Very proud of Evan. Challenged him that this was an opportunity to be the long-term guy. Great demeanor."

"My contract is for six more years and I expect to play well for those six years. Then who knows? Could go another three or four."

"I expect to be playing at a high level for all six of those years (left on his contract). We have a chance to be great."

"We all trust judgment of Ted and his staff. As an older player, you understand importance of guys who have been there, done that."

On Kuhn: "Great teammate. Nobody I trust more on the field."

Also said he expects Jolly to be back.

Jason Wilde's a pretty good reporter.

But he also pushed AR for details on everything where you could tell AR had to really hold his tongue. And then when he didn't, he got shi* for it the following week where he had to clarify what he meant the week before. A good example was the year he broke his collar bone. Every week was a saga trying to get details you know AR couldn't or shouldn't share just yet. And then there was the week @CINN where Wilde tried to paint AR in a corner for not liking MM's play calling.

It could be AR just didn't want to deal with all that this year. And it's understandable.

I never felt that Wilde was getting the best of Rodgers in these interviews.  I wonder if it has more to do with Rodgers' new marketing team and the direction he wants to go with that.  I doubt we'll ever get an explanation.  I just hope there are a few "specials" with someone on the beat during the year.

Wouldn't it be nice to get to get insight into some of the other leaders on the team like we did with ARod over the past 4 years?

Aaron wants a second Lombardi a whole lot more than any of us do. He's left parts and sweat and failure on Lambeaus turf. Gotta remember that. He's got far more skin in this mission than a bunch of armchairs that want bragging rights. We want that last shovel full of dirt on Favre so ****ing bad. One more Lombardi.

Think of all the hours of film, and study, and preparation, and demands he puts on the offense to be perfect. Its been going on for 6 years. The guy has put his entire life into this. Some will tell you he's too hard on people.

"I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it"

Replace freedom with winning. Greg and Jermichael got rich and bet them. Randall and Jordy got rich and bet Green Bay Packers.

Aaron Rodgers understands his place in Packer history. I want Aaron to win another Lombardi for Aaron. He's more than earned it.

I'll miss the show, but it was a smart move by Aaron.  It has to be frustrating when ESPN latches on to every passing comment and twists it into day long programming on every platform they have.  I hope he ended it out of spite.

The show started off as a fun, laid back hour and ended up with him having to painstakingly measure every word that passed his lips and his thoughts still ended up sensationalized, spliced, and taken out of context by every chucklehead on a network with too much much time and too little sense.  **** ESPN and the horse they came in on

A little self-serving. Not really Aarons style but I understand your point.

A great article on A-12's INT's.......and why he throws so few.....

A need to avoid turnovers has been drilled into Aaron Rodgers dating back to a quarterback competition in eighth grade. Now, a lack of turnover among the Packers’ coaching staff has helped build him into football’s most efficient quarterback.

GREEN BAY, Wis. — You get bombarded by a lot of statistics this time of year. Make time for one important one, about Aaron Rodgers:

Rodgers threw 520 passes last season. Five were intercepted. Of those five, four deflected off a receiver’s hands. Bacarri Rambo of the Buffalo Bills did what no other opposing defensive player, over 16 regular-season games covering 519 other throws, could do: He intercepted a poorly thrown ball by Rodgers.

You also get bombarded by a lot of quotes from players and coaches. Take time for one important one, from Rodgers:

“I desperately want to be coached.”
