Who does a Packer fan root for on Thanksgiving? Detroit or Chicago? We don't want Detroit to win but I dislike the Bears. What is a fan to do?

Dude! That's an easy one! Go Bears! They're my second favorite team because they give us wins! And I HATE the Lions, not to mention that they are still in the race to take the North.

I'll be thrilled of "Good Jay" shows up today. Even with their horrible defense, the Bears will win if they can get a good performance out of Cutler today. Just read that Reggie Bush is out today!

I don't even want Detroit to make the playoffs this year. Not because I'm afraid they'd pose a challenge to the Pack at Lambeau in the playoffs, but because I enjoy seeing them fall apart and screw up after having a bit of success. They're still the same old filthy Raiola/Suh-led Lions that they were under Jim Schwartz.
Stat Paddford has 13 TDs this year.
Aaron Rodgers has 11...in November....with no interceptions.

Pretty obvious what to root for. Bears have nothing left to play for...they aren't making the playoffs. Lions are still a threat to GB for the division
We want a Lions loss, which gives the Packers room for even more error/another loss...and more importantly it gives the Bears an empty win that moves them lower in the draft. Win/Win
After that, I'd probably want an Eagles win because the Pack have H2H tiebreaker over them. NFC East champ may finish with same record as GB, so give me the team that GB has tiebreaker over since it likely will determine who gets a first round BYE.
SEA/SF....wish both could lose but I'll pick Seattle. Whoever loses this game is probably the team who finishes just short of the postseason. Fine by me

Can you smell that foul odor? That's the stench of the Detroit Lions collectively messing themselves as their team begins its annual unraveling.
Pats just exposed last week how to take down this Lions defense. Spread them out and sling it all over the field. The "run game" is screens, WR screens, etc.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Detroit finish 9-7. I do not think they are that good of a team. Lots of close (lucky) wins will even out at some point. That being said I don't want 3 NFC West teams making the playoffs either. Guess that means go Eagles and Cowboys?
I fear no team! I want no excuses. To be the best you have to beat the best. Frankly, I do not give a damn who the Packers play in the playoffs.
I actually would kinda like to get the 49ers at Lambeau against a healthy Packers team. The Seahawks are the only team I think would stand a chance of beating the Packers in the playoffs this year.
40-10 would be a nice final score for this one.
