I imagine the Bears and Vikings feel the same way about Rodgers.

I know next to nothing about being an NFL QB, but it sure seems to me that Kaepernick doesn't really go through progressions. I can't believe he doesn't throw more picks, because it seems to me he's always locked onto his first read.

(Half-time piece on Wilson)

I hate Seattle.

I hate Pete Carroll.

I'm thrilled for Russell Wilson that he won a Super Bowl---he's just good people.

Borland is better than Hawk. I get that.

But Borland couldn't scrub Bowmans jock. Seattle is rolling up yards tonight. Bowman is a Seattle killer. Does anyone here think Willis would rather have Borland next to him ahead of Bowman?

And there's probably 7 ILBs in the 2015 draft that are better than Borland. That's Ted knowing his board. The best rookie LB in SF is Lynch. That's a poor mans Clay Matthews.

Really? You think TT wouldn't have drafted Borland because he knows there's 7 ILBs better in the next draft? Seems a bit far fetched to me.

Hell, if he would have drafted Borland, and he became a starter for us this year, I'd argue that ILB would still be a need going into 2015. Of course this is all hindsight, but if he could have traded up into the third round and gotten this guy instead of Khyri Thornton, that would have been great.

Then again, maybe he would have traded away the pick he used to get Linsley in that hypothetical trade.

Stupid speculation. TT drafts Borland & we don't have Davante. If he trades up in the 3rd we don't have Linsley.

WR & C are WAY higher value positions than ILB.

Stooopid!!

I think SF jumped GB for Borland. I think Ted might have taken Borland at his spot. I think Ted stood down and didn't bite on the next ILB on the board knowing the 2015 ILBS class and went best player on his board.

Borland isn't the next great MLB. He just isn't.

Yep, pretty much agree with all of that. I don't know if SF moved up specifically to get ahead of GB, but I think TT would have taken Borland if he fell to us in the 3rd.

He may not be the next great MLB, but he's a hell of a lot better than what we have now. Can't have HOF like talent at every position.

Borland is better than what GB has today. But Denzel Perryman or Eric Kendriks is better than Borland next year and so is making the playoffs this year as a 1 or 2 seed with a chance to improve with Denzel Perryman or Eric Kkendricks next year.

The benefit of picking AR can't ever be underestimated. It's served Ted well.

Tough to say that players who haven't played a down in the NFL are better than a guy that is proving it week after week - playing behind maybe the best LBs in football (Willis and Bowman)

By the way, I am not sure the two players mentioned were better than Borland last season at Wisconsin either.

We all know the Packers could use better ILBs and personally I could care less where they come from.   I just think they are so close defensively and will come up short eventually because they don't have a guy like Borland and that is frustrating.   Hopefully TT can address it once and for all next season.
Doesn't LambeauSouth live in the Dallas area and also have back problems? Maybe they use the same chiropractor and LS can get some inside info on Romo?

Or maybe no one gives two ****s?

I think Dallas may have been a legitimate threat that seems to be no more, thanks to an injured QB that looked to me like he threw like a QB with a noodle for an arm.
