I am surprised Da'Rick Rogers wasn't picked. I know he was indefinitely suspended from UT and transferred to TENN Tech and played this past season. He is very talented and could be an UDFA steal.

I don't think it was ever reported why he was suspended. My GD has some inside info.
Updated list:

Lane Taylor, OL, Oklahoma State
Angelo Pease, RB, Kansas State
Matt Brown, QB, Illinois State
Ben Ericksen, S, Illinois State
Gilbert Pena, DT, Mississippi
Jake Stoneburner, TE, Ohio State
Patrick Lewis, C, Texas A&M

Jake Stoneburner is a fantastic name

Per Ourlad's: "Off field red flags that include coachability and an admitted suspension due to repeated failure of mandatory drug tests."
Definitely not Packer People and maybe not even Raider Nation.

Packers loading up on Redbirds. Did TT spend the winter at Bloomington, Ill?
Stoneburner got in some trouble after a public urination citation at the Memorial tournament. Best keep him and Hyde away from one another.

ON a serious note, having watched all OSU games Jake is project no doubt. He could be a good to very good blocker/"possession" TE, although he was inconsistent this past year as for his whole of body of work does have good hands. Don't think he has the speed to strecth the field though.

Sucks for him. He is an awesome talent... but a dope.
And for my "CalBuc Memorial I Am The Only Poster Out Here Who Cares About This Team" post:

I see that the Vikings signed SMU RB (and probable fullback in the NFL) Zach Line. Would have like to seen the Pack (and fellow SMU alum Ted T) sign him.
I really hope Pena can make the squad and become a decent rotational player at least. I'm not convinced Raji or Pickett will be on the team next year which is why I was hoping they'd actually draft a NT and sign one. Those guys tend to wear down and being able to reduce their snaps to where they can play optimally would help the Run D a lot. Rodgers' contract structure leaves them room to sign someone this year, but will it be Shields, Raji, Jones or someone else?

Once told undrafted player we'd sign him for a $500 bonus. He said he didn't have that much but could get it. I said "No, we pay you!"

That's awesome !

Nothing serious. Only thing I've read about locally that he's been in trouble for. Of course this makes the news when you play for THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY. Jake went to the same high school as my kids. My son knows him. Good kid from what I hear around here. OSU switched him from WR to TE. Fairly fast for a TE. A guy who can stretch the field and create mismatches. Very surprised he didn't get drafted. Could be a great signing by TT.
