Sorry, meant to have Pennel in there.

Can we have two designated IR to return? That's where I would put Goodson then, and if not... that would be too bad. I wasn't sure how the PUP worked. Thinking they may disregard one of Banjo/Fanor for Goodson, possibly, as we have a lot of CBs who can play the S if need be.

Also, on Mulumba, I like him a lot. Just wondering if Mike's recent praise isn't overcompensation a bit, knowing he is on the edge. Crockett, may be too difficult to let loose. Mulumba? I'm thinking he may be more replaceable.

That was my rationale. I think if we cut Vaughters, he won't stay on our PS.

If they go with nine, then Josh Walker sticks because he can play multiple spots. The only reason they'd take him over Taylor is because Taylor only plays guard.

I'll be very surprised if they don't keep Walker. Size, Length, Versatility seems straight out of the MM/TT text book. Hoping they can get Pink to the PS - he just looks the part to me, sans the experience. As much of a Bucky fan as I am I don't see Rock-Me-Abbrederis getting separation as WR at the NFL level. You go back and look at his WI highlights and he did a lot of body catching. Passes he tried to catch just with his hands seemed to be a 50/50 proposition (at best).

Both of those look really good. Wish there was a way to keep John Crockett on the roster. I'd be looking at keeping him, even at the expense of a guy like Carl Bradford. He might pay off bigger down the stretch, and RBs can get banged up. If we run injury free at RB, then maybe he becomes a hot commodity at trade deadline.

I think Bradford's in trouble. Palmer outplayed him last night with a club on his hand. Watched him very closely, and he missed a bunch. Sad for me to see, as I know what he can do when he's not thinking so much, and playing on pure instincts within a system. He's not doing that yet. Not enough anyway to win a job.

Yeah. I agree DH13. I could tell he was really pressing last night. Wanting to make a big play, choosing the wrong side, or playing safe to cover his assignment, causing him to be a bit late. Got swallowed up in some run blitzes, missing the ball carrier. it was the exact opposite of what I was hoping to see for him.

Regardless, the ILB play by Palmer, Ryan and Thomas looked really good. We will be fine there. Man, is this going to be a fun season. Jake Ryan impressed the hell out of me, as did Palmer. Add to that, Joe Thomas showed some pretty serious speed there, coming up with  a nice sack on the blitz. That was all good to see. Palmer too. That guy has been one of the bigger surprises of the offseason in my eyes. Nice conversion to the interior by Nate.

Now that we know the final roster, I thought I'd compare to my initial guess:

QB: I know it's not preferable to keep 3 QBs, but I can't see TT wanting to expose Hundley to waivers unless he's Brohm-like.

RB: I was a big fan of John Crockett before the draft and wanted GB to spend a pick on him. But I think Alonzo Harris is going to surprise some people.

FB: I hadn't planned on keeping 2 FBs, but there was an open spot.

WR: Abbradumdum vs. Janis will be a tough competition. Somehow, I think Jared gets another injury and spends time on the PS. I expect Davante will take a major step forward this season. I put James Jones on here for nostalgia purposes. No way the Giants let him go.

TE: Backman is a camp surprise, while Rodgers makes his case for being the unquestioned #1 TE in the team.

OL: Andy Walker surprises everyone.

DL: Thornton will prove what a ****ing waste of a draft pick and human life he is and get himself cut. Also, Guion and Jones will do something stupid and get suspended, when really they all deserve a shotgun to the temple.

OLB: Nothing mysterious here.

ILB: Bradford is added to the "should have been left to rot at the soup kitchen" scrap heap. What a waste. Wonder how many Superb Owls this team would have won if they hadn't drafted him?

CB: Keep an eye on LaDarius Gunter. He's my pick for camp favorite.

FS: Micah Hyde sticks around as NB despite the completely untrue rumors of him being a virulent racist.

SS: Richardson sees additional action as an S/LB hybrid.

ST: Balls.

Damn, but I'm good. Just call me Nostradumass.
