Earlier on the 1st offsides, the center was jerking his left arm several times. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case again.

I love the jump around......and every other network plays it...... except ESPN tonight and the first game of the season.

OMG, Ramesh on a sweep.
You know. F . They keep trying to call that a 'turning point'.
No, the play was cheap, called correctly, and things were going to change regardless.
Idots.

Not coming up, it IS the century mark. 1917 to 2017.

So sweet Barry's grandson, a senior with a ton of games gets that play.
Bless Barry Alvarez for how he's turned around the Badger's athletics as a whole. Wow. It's truly amazing how they went from a has-been to national power in MANY fields.
Damn proud man, damn proud!

Bottom of the roster makin' some noise tonight.
Gotta make that tackle.
I am pleased.
On to next week!
That was fun. Lets make Lane Kifflin 0-2.
Too bad we lost chickenboy at halftime.
Post game radio here...
That was fun. 59 pts in a little over a half of football.
If I may a bit of a summary. It was a sloooow start but once the season starting jitters passed it was Katy bar the door. The big uglies on both sides of the line played Big 10 football. The backs made desicive cuts, hit the holes and finished their runs with some extra yds. There were a few drops and I hope that will improve but the recievers showed promise and the tight ends played likeBadger tight ends. Horni looks to be a QB. He should get better and better and may be the QB we have been waiting for. PC will coach him up. On D the linebackers look good, I dare say that losing VB, TJ and Cichy will not be crippling.
The broadcasters mentioned that the team is a WISCONSIN team, with guys from top to bottom buying in......PC, Rudolph and Leonhard at the helm, some top recruits and some over achievers on the roster. It's a good, balanced team. Skies the limit.
I was at Brewers game so DVRd it and a few observations.
Hornibrook started slow but he appears more decisive and is getting the ball to the receiver faster.
The Taylor duo on offense looked impressive. Need to get those two more touches.
WR and TE look to have good talent and depth. Cepheus TD catch was awesome.
DL and OL need more reps but got better as game went on.

I also think this is a "Wisconsin" team. With a bit of a change with Paul Chryst making a real effort to throw the ball and be balanced. I think the recruiting is better now than in quite some time. You can see more speed on this team and I do think opening up the offense is going to help big time in the long run.
I do hope they can keep Leonard around for awhile I like what he is doing with that defense.
Overall, I feel really good about this program and I am hoping they can take that one more step.
If the receivers make plays, they have a shot. They can't run the ball against OSU if they aren't able to keep the chains moving, and that means the guys on the perimeter catching the ball in tight coverage.
The defense won't be tested until mid season. Hell the team won't really be tested until mid season. But all the tools are there...
