That last sentence is interesting.

Minnesota Vikings coach Vikings coach Mike Zimmer has now had two offensive coordinators depart during the season in the past three years. Norv Turner quit in 2016 and now John DeFilippo has been fired. Both men had their faults. But it's important to consider the full context of today's news. Working for Mike Zimmer isn't easy.

Taken from another Queens message board. 4 in 5 years? Seriously?

Wow, I thought he'd make it until the end of the season but apparently, that sorry performance yesterday was enough.

Zimmer's rapidly moving into Lovie Smith territory with OCs. He's now moving on to his 4th in 5 years. Bad sign.

I never understood all the talk of this guy as a HC for the Packers. Still, maybe some team can rent him for a few games and see what he can offer in a reduced role of consultant or something.

Zimmer is the polar opposite of MMs loyalty fetish.

I am not saying Flip should be the guy but when I see posts like this, I always think back when TT originally hired M3. M3 was more out of left field then than Flip WOULD be today…

Just wait until Zimmer and Spielman receive their 1 year subscription for Jelly of the month club from Cousins in 10 days.

Many fine jellies to be had!

I'm just going to post this right now....so I can change mind later if necessary.

Dalvin Cook did Flip no favors either. Has no rushing TD's all season, has no 100 yard rushing game, has 367 yards for the year, and can't stay healthy.  Considering the hopes they had for him, that's looking more and more like a b***

The Vikings are 30th in the NFL avg 85 yards per game.

Remember when Cook got injured, last season, by stubbing his toe in the carpet on the field at US Bank Stadium? He hasn't been the same since. That mean carpet made him miss almost an entire year. I'll bet he has visions of Teddy Bridgewater laid out on the practice field carpet with one foot pointed up and the other foot pointed down.

Wasn't there also stat from last night where the ESPN guys said 20% of Cook's carries result in negative yardage?

there's gonna be even more speed bumps with the coach and gm getting canned at the end of the season.  and if not, better for us.  man, they threw that guy right under the bus.  better be some kind of epic turnaround this weekend.👌

Well it is a kinda like being "Chief of Staff"

If old one-eye misses the playoffs, him & Spielburg will find both their seats quite warm.

I love hearing about the April Champions every year. We're only 4 months away from another "title"!

MM always said people get wierd when they put that purple outfit on. For some reason, I just dont believe he would take that job unless it was the only one available.

I don't think he would do it even then.  He saw how we treated Favre first hand.

Plus, I doubt he needs the money.  He made what, $5 million a year for GB, plus he married into money?  Not worth it.

MM to the Queens.

He would never bow to Zimmer. Too much ego between the 2 of them to fit through the same door.

Bow to Zimmer? I would think if MM took the job, ZimZam wouldn't be anywhere near that Viking team. As in...You're terminated ****er
