Lazard not practicing two days in a row is somewhat concerning. He was doing some βmove TEβ stuff in practice after Bobby went out.
That's all he needs. Go through what's installed for this week and get a feel for it before you do it for real on Sunday.
The more important issue is his breathing and endurance. Hopefully his recovery is almost complete and he isn't having lingering problems in that area.
Iβm hearing Lazard is doubtful. And Taylor as out.
Taylor the receiver is out, Lazard is doubtful.
Rodgers has thrown 24 touchdowns to three interceptions against Zimmer's Viking teams. AR has a 7:1 TD:Int ratio overall vs MIN.
While the Packers W/L record vs Zimmer's Viks is not great, 7-6-1, 2 losses game when AR was out, and this years D is a bit different from the past few years.
I like my Packers chances tomorrow.
I worry that the next man up mantra may soon run out of men who are up for it.
@TomSilverstein: #Packers have elevated OLB La'Darius Hamilton and WR Juwann Winfree from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday. They get help if Rashan Gary (elbow) is limited or can't play and an extra guy to help replace Allen Lazard (shoulder), who isn't expected to play.
Hardly any of the so-called "ex-spurts" are picking the Packers to win. This will be the game that finally puts MILf in the COTY conversation.
Peterson will get toasted by Davante and MVS, book it
@jzulgad: Patrick Peterson activated by Vikings and looks as if he will return Sunday. That's big because I really didn't think a 31-year-old cornerback with a hamstring injury would be set to return after missing three games. Have to think Peterson and Dantzler start and Breeland sits.
Breeland is horrible lately, too, so they're not in a good place either way.
Teacher's pet.

Who was that Masked Man?
#Packers OLB Rashan Gary (elbow) will be a game-time decision today against the #Vikings, per source. Gary made the trip and wants to play, but they need him healthy for the long haul and will be cautious.

Would be extra satisfying to kick the shit out of MN with this MASH unit. Certainly not saying it will happen, just saying the boner would be just a tad more pronounced if it does.
@TomPelissero: #Packers QB Aaron Rodgers will start today against the #Vikings despite a painful toe injury that limited him to only about 15 reps in practice Friday, per sources. The hope is itβll improve with rest at the bye, but between the toe and COVID, limited practice time is a concern.

Hand the ball off to Dillon and Taylor and get rid of the ball quickly on passing plays. Then, be ready for the cheap shots from the vikings criminals.

I love being the underdog, here! I'll bet Zimmer hates that the Packers are in this situation. Look for the vikings to come out fast, as is their MO. They will fade, quickly, once GB finds its rhythm. GO PACK, GO!!!
Has anyone heard any specifics about how the toe injury occurred?

Packers are -1
Nobody picked the Packers to win. "How will they stop cook, Theilin and Jefferson? Well they stopped Wilson, Lockett and Metcalf, and before that pretty much stopped Mahommes, Kelce and Hill. And beat the Cardinals without Devante and Lazard. How bad is the Toe? Rodgers doesn't seem to worried about it.
@mrtundra posted:And if I remember, correctly, the Packers, in the hunt for the Championship, lost this game to the Colts. I loved Favre's guttiness, back then!
I think it's from the 2000 season. The '97 game they lost was at Indy, and the Colts wouldn't have been road favorites in that game. The Packers didn't play the Colts in 1994.
That is, if it's even real.

Doesn't take a whole lot to claim your coach is better looking than ol one eye Zimmer.
Now here's a closer call. Zimmer or MM?
