+ Despite all these things, they were a Jimmy Graham greasy hands away from making a real game of this. Especially on defense with the two best players on the team not suiting up. Lots will piss and moan this team is a trainwreck, I really can see them making noise with a few good moves this offseason.

Need to use any excuse to IR Cobb, Rodgers, Graham, and Bulaga. They are playing two other teams out of playoff contention so there is no need to worry about anything. Letās give Kizer some snaps. Winning these last two games only hurts draft position and they are not going to hurt any other team by tanking. The last thing we need is for a Spriggs screwup to get Rodgers hurt at this pint.
Saying we need a WR in this draft shouldn't shock anyone. I've been calling for a high RD WR for 3 years now as well as during this season, even when our rooks were showing some ability. There is usually a reason you're picked on day 3. We need true #2.

For such a "formidable" defense, that's some soft shit. And yes, the Vikings or Seattle would likely beat the Bears. You do actually need to produce offense on a regular basis. Well, maybe the Bears and Vikings can flip a coin on who is going to try and produce offense for that game since it's such an iffy proposition for teams that suck for ages to finally hope their stack of high round picks makes it to the second game of the playoffs.

The bears seem to play to the level of their competition. That and division games are usually closer because of familiarity. I think they're capable of being a lot better than they were today but what what I also think we saw were two guys who have been around the leauge a long time, dealing with the new kid on the block more successfully than a roster like our should have.

- This offense desperately needs a #2 or #3 WR. Adams is a really good but when you have only one WR who can get open the QB is going to struggle at times.

We are going to see in the next few months how good Gute is as a GM. This roster is so thin right now and he needs to fill a ton of holes.

Not so fast on the Vikings...
With Cobb and Allison missing so much time, and Graham being ineffective (due to play calling, age, or both), I think it's a bit much to expect a 4th Rounder or two 6th Rounders to step in to the #2 WR role. I think they have talent and should make strides through minis and TC.
I was thinking today while (sort of) watching the game, what would our feelings be about Deshone Kizer if we were the team that had drafted him last year? He had a bad rookie season with Cleveland and it was thought that maybe he should have stayed another year at ND. He has only played sparingly in GB. Do we really know if he's any good. He has great size, athletic ability and arm strength. He's only 22 and is signed through 2021.
I only did a brief search about Kizer's draft scouting report but it was actually comparable to Rodger's. Maybe the heir apparent is already on the team.
Obviously who knows about Kizer but it was reported that the Pack was high on him coming into the draft. Without researching, not sure on 'who' was but I do it recall it being reported.

That's true, that one time he was wide open.
There are a shitton of other times our wide receivers are not getting open, running good routes, dropping balls, etc. But that one time...
Iād love to see the % of times recievers run exact routes so they are where they are supposed to be.
This offense looks like a guessing game between AR and the recievers where he thinks theyāre headed.
The missed TD to EQ is a good example. He kept his route vertical. Rodgers threw inside. Rodgers asking recievers to come back toward him when the pocket collapses is another.
Offense in general looks like it doesnāt have a plan.
So true. How many times have we saw since game 1 where Rodgers is either shaking his head or throwing his arms with his palms up like, "What the hell was that?" after an incomplete pass? Too many times for me.
Shocked that a 4th Rounder and two 6th Rounders arenāt ready by now to be starters. Crazy.
Davante was awesome his first couple of years. Jordy too. And Driver. And Brooks. Yep, why havenāt these clowns picked up the game by now???

This season in a nutshell right here. Spot on.
Biggest hole to fill is Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator.
Then OLB, OL, Safety, and TE. And with the beatings they take, you always need new running backs. I would not put WR high on the list.
This is why drafting wr high next year won't help us in 2019. They take 3 years. We need OL.
+ Pettine. Still think he's the real deal. Nothing to work with and somehow keeps them playing hard, even after a not-so-hot start. The D pulls it together and makes fewer mistakes; I bet the mistakes made all year are fewer than half what they were in half a season under that bad-toupee guy.
+ Adams. Williams is a reliable second RB. DL looks deeper; Lowry looks like he will either break out next year or be a reliable sub.
- Rodgers. Is his year an anomaly or trend? If his receivers aren't doing what he wants, then he needs to step up and help them. On the other hand, he overthrew guys he usually hits with his eyes closed for TDs. Yes, his Oline is scary, but his inaccuracy this year has made him extra-cautious and he's passed up too many throws and missed on too many others.
- Offense. If this O were even halfway decent, they would have won a lot more. GB lost to Det by 8, LAR by 2, Seattle by 3, MN by 7, AZ by 3, today by 7, and one tie.
- Bears win division.
+ Better than Vikings winning it.
