I don’t like the Bears but I do admire the fight in their defense. That said, even the ‘85 Bears D would have trouble carrying an offense as poor as theirs is.

It's really just three players (Hicks, Mack, and R. Smith) that make the difference. Kenny Clark is as good as Hicks and I'd rather have Z. Smith at 4 years/66 million than Khalil Mack at 6 years/141 million.
Roquan Smith is the type of guy they need, but there was a reason he was the 8th pick overall.
