Let me see, we don't draft a receiver with the pick.

Why limit it to receiver?

Unless it is another project QB who might possibly start in 2025 after management gets done begging Aaron to play for $100M a year, there ain't no way this FRONT OFFICE is going offense in round 1.

After all, we need to keep stockpiling all that defensive talent so Joe Berry can hopefully turn them into a top 16 unit.

If they can continue to play near the level of the team they are playing, they should look amazing. It's just a matter of whether they establish the run and let Jones take control on big plays with Dillon getting chunk yard first downs.

Otherwise, the over is going to be hit in the first half and Allen might only play one series in the second half.

Aaron said it perfectly in his press conference, this might be the best thing for them, because a 5th loss here makes the Wild Card really tough to get unless the Bandwagon Franchise completely collapses and gives up the Division (always a very real possibility probability).

I like your enthusiasm, but every week MLF says we should have run the ball more, and every week we fail to run the ball.  If we're going to be a run-heavy offense because we don't have shit for WR's, then put the road graders on the O-line and let them have at it.  Like the Packers of old when the teams knew what was coming, but they couldn't stop us.  Get big 'ol Caleb Jones in there.

PS - How does Newman get benched (finally!) and Amari doesn't?  Amari's fuck ups are way more detrimental than Newman getting bowled over every down.

I see Love starting the second half.  Strike that.  MLF doesn't have the oats.

believe me, they will blitz the ever-loving mercy out of us if that were to happen and until he can get it figured out - even a little - he's not there maybe never will be. I know 12 is rough right now, but he is the much better solution for the team this season...

Lucky dog.  Sounds like a lot of fun.  Hope you like wings!

Amari was always going to be given the same opportunity as another third round bust Jace Sternberger- two seasons.

Ryan Wood basically asked MLF that follow-up question and his answer was that Amari performs well in practice. Seriously, he said that.

I think the Packers just need to trade out of the 3rd round from now on. They have literally not picked a player worth anything since the Super Bowl win in that round. Kyler Fackrell and Ty Montgomery are their best picks.

2022 - 92nd overall. Sean Rhyan, OG. No snaps yet. I forgot he was even on the team. Has anyone heard why he isn't being considered to replace Newman? Was he hurt?

2021 - Amari Rodgers, WR

2020 - Josiah DeGuara, TE

2019 - Jace Sternberger, TE

2018 - Oren Burks, LB

2017 - Montravius Adams, DT

2016 - Kyler Fackrell, LB

2015 - Ty Montgomery, WR

2014 - Khyri Thornton, DL

2014- Richard Rodgers, TE

2013 - no 3rd round pick

2012- no 3rd round pick

2011 - Alex Green, RB

I think you're undervaluing the 2012 and 2013 3rd round "picks."

In 2012, Ted Thompson traded 3rd and 5th round picks to select Casey Hayward in round 2.

In 2013, Thompson traded back from his 3rd round pick twice and used his first pick in the 4th round on David Bakhtiari. He used another 4th rounder on JC Tretter.

The moral of the story is that you are 100% correct that "the Packers just need to trade out of the 3rd round."

For anyone coming into town for the game, besides the wings (which you should grab at Duff's or Gabriels Gate - Anchor Bar is overrated) try the Beef on Weck sandwiches.

I was at Josh Allen's debut in Lambeau. We won 23-0. He looked worse than Love ever did.

Something tells me he wants revenge, a 40-0 burger.

We shall see.

I was there for that game too.  Packer's offense did not look good either.  That was the game where Rodgers ripped the Packers offense in his post game presser.  Beginning of end for Pittsburgh Macho.

Coles has (had) the best wings. My wife who isn't a big fan of wings commented on how good they were. Gabriel's had the best burger. How they produce so much food from that tiny kitchen is something else.

Beef on Weck is my favorite food there. They also have good deli meats. That and their pizza is better than any that I can get down south. Of course I do prefer our Q.

I thought so too, YA, but when I was perusing defensive stats, I noted the Packers defense had faced 204 rush attempts, and 184 pass attempts. Roughly 3 more rushes per game (over 7 games). But that's an average of roughly 29 (almost 30!) attempts/game, and that shows opponents are having a lot of success running.

Stats are always skewed this time of year because of the bye weeks. Of course, teams that have played only 6 games through Week 7 tend to look better defensively, but worse offensively.

In any case, the Packers rank at/near the top in a lot of pass defense categories.
It just doesn't look like it sometimes...

Per MLF, Gary is trending in the right direction to play Sunday night (concussion protocal);
