Does Tampa Bay hold any tie breakers over us? Can we lose and still be #7?

Tampa is now their division leader.  If they keep winning they have no bearing on us. Now if they fall back it could. That is why the Packers must beat them in 2 weeks so we hold the head to head tie breaker.

Cowboys kickers was a first round pick in the MLS super draft, which makes him like the 67 millionth best soccer player in the world.

In 1982 I was heartbroken to not be selected in the MISL (Major Indoor Soccer League) draft. Go ahead and calculate my ranking , you son-of-a-bitch.

Funny how nobody ever mentions that one of his uncles microwaved a parrot.

Cowboys offense just working the Eagles right now.

MM really deserves a lot of credit for really turbocharging that group this season. I have to admit when I heard he was taking over play calling this year that Dallas would get less, not more, effective.

Agree. But MM also has a boat load of talent at WR and TE just like he did in 2010-2013ish here. It’s not that MM’s offenses here were ultra creative. It’s that it was next to impossible to stop all the weapons Rodgers had in the SB era.

I remember reading an article about MM's offensive scheme during that 2011 season.  The hook was "he's all about matchups".  He designed plays to match up his guys vs. certain defensive players giving his guys the highest probability of success.

Probably fairly easy to do with that 2011 GB offense.

Interesting.....I thought they would be more effective.

...and I told a friend....this is the type of game MM would lose in the past.....I just have a hunch tonight is going to be different.

WOW! Gallup with a huge catch deep down the field....4:20 left and counting 2nd & 3

I’d be pissed too. Last week they lost partly because the refs “let them play,” although the officiating was atrocious on both sides.  Yesterday they lost because an offsides call negated a TD.  He was obviously offsides but that penalty seems to be sporadically called.

This ref issue is starting to become a fan issue.  Fans want to blame the refs and will make any excuse to do it.  How in the world can the refs get it right when the fan sentiment is "Yes we all agree he broke the rule but it shouldn't have been called"?

If the refs don't make that call, the pre-snap still photo is on every morning show this morning.

It's the players responsibility to be onsides.  Toney wasn't.  Unsure why there is any debate.  They should have cut Toney months ago and didn't, so the Chiefs deserve this.

Wisconsin sports has been filled with coaches with that philosophy - "we do what we can and we'll just do it well enough that you can't stop it."

Don't blame Mahomes at all for being pissed; problem is it should have been directed properly- towards Toney.

Offsides was blatant and egregious and had to be called.

The only complaint they might have is whether he'd been doing that the entire game and they just decided to call it then. It's unlikely they'd have missed that because it's so egregious, but you see that with officials many times. It's like watching Giannis shoot free throws and take 12 seconds every time and they let it go for an entire game and then call it in the last minute of the 4th quarter.

Seriously that’s something high school players know to do—check with the side judge to make sure you’re lined up OK

The call onToney was correct but then when Von Miller was even farther off-side on the very next play and was not called.  Same ref too.

Maybe the ref heard Pat/Andy saying don’t make calls like that at this time of the game let the players play.

Go watch the replay. Von wasn’t offsides. The blue line in the telecast was not where the ball was. It only looked like he was offsides because of the misplaced line. On the field he was clearly not offsides.

This apparently is a point of emphasis this year. It’s why Runyun was called for it when usually he wouldn’t have been. All the teams know this. It’s been called this year more than any other year.

This was was so bad that it wasn’t even a neutral zone infraction, his foot was well past the top of the ball. He was clearly lined up offsides.
