And he’s looking right at the ball!

Guess the line of scrimmage was just "misplaced" for poor Toney (and Ammo).

Anyone remember the opening game of the season and Chiefs RT being lined up in the backfield and not getting called for it ...?

The blue line was definitely accurate on the TD that was called back. Hell you didn't even need the blue line. The guy was a half yard past the ball.

Not sure about the following play.

I am not sure how the Chiefs can even think about complaining on this one.  Heck one of the first things they teach you as far back as Pee Wee football is when you are on offense you look at the ball and make sure you are behind it.  Not a good look for Mahomes on this one at all he is smarter than that.

This is the following play where Chiefs fans say Von was "offsides".  You can see the blue line on the telecast is not where the ball is located.  So while it may look like he was in the neutral zone, he was not.

The Tooney play was much much more obvious, with or without a line on the screen, Tooney's foot was a good foot or two past the tip of the ball.

Really bad look from Mahomes.  Remember the called back TD was 1st down.  He had 3 more downs to get a first down and couldn't do it.  Then went into crazy mode at the end of the game.  There was a video clip of him stil complaining to Nagy about the offensive offsides call before their 4th down play and Nagy basically says to him "come on, lets win it right here" and Mahomes ignores him and keeps complaining.

This call really got into his head, it's wild.

This apparently is a point of emphasis this year. It’s why Runyun was called for it when usually he wouldn’t have been. All the teams know this. It’s been called this year more than any other year.

This was was so bad that it wasn’t even a neutral zone infraction, his foot was well past the top of the ball. He was clearly lined up offsides.

This right here.....there was ONE call in 2021....TWO in 2022....there have been ELEVEN of these calls in 2023. Teams have been told this is an emphasis this year. Line up correctly. It's not that hard.

Andrew "Kadarius" Toney....has single handedly cost the Chiefs 2 wins this season. Vs. the Lions and now the Bills.

He said it himself in the press conference.....2 weeks in a row we're complaining about the refs.

Yeah Pat....not a good look and you know what? The NFL is listening....you don't like this now??? Keep complaining and see how many calls you DON'T get in future games.

You've won 2 fucking Super Bowls.....the refs aren't going to bail your whiny ass out. Play better and you won't have to worry about what the refs are or are not calling.

I wish I could shove this preceding paragraph in front of every whining Chiefs fan this morning.

The call onToney was correct but then when Von Miller was even farther off-side on the very next play and was not called.  Same ref too.

Even so, the solution is not to call both plays incorrectly.  It's to call both correctly.  If Von was offsides, then hammer on the ref for missing that call.  Not for calling the Toney play correctly.

I get Mahomes complaining, but will he take a team friendly deal to get them more talent? The penalty was untimely/unfortunate, but with Tyreek and not MVS they are a different team. Rice is good, but doesn't tilt the field, at least not yet.

That was a great play for the TD.

As shown above, Von wasn't close to offsides.  So the refs called both plays correctly.

So, you are saying that this pass usually doesn't end up in a Pick 6? It may be what keeps either the Vikings or Packers from catching the Lions for the division title this year.

So, Toney is better than Deguara?

Chefs are not quite the team they were in recent years. They were also sufficiently banged up after playing us. For whatever reason, the Packers showed with a can of whoop as last Sunday night...the Chefs were already on the brink and the Packers pushed them over the edge. Luckily their last 4 games are against 3 dog shit opponents, and one missing their starting QB. 12-5 is highly probable.

They're really feeling the misses that Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Mecole Hardman, and Sky Moore have been so far. Rashee Rice is questionable too. They tried to draft talent at WR and RB, they've just missed. Throw in spending $18m for MVS this year and last year and they've missed on skill position players in the draft and in free agency and this is the price.
