Maybe a good IPA. 2 of my favorites.

Tri Tip is a very underrated cut of beef. Just grilled one on Monday.
never enough tri tip and blue moons to go around
man, haven't had a Sammy Smith Oatmeal Stout in a long time - can't find them around the area anymore. that'd be a good brunch item today. their Nut Brown Ale is damn good too.
By the sounds of things, 4th Quarter Fun!

I've switched to a gayer beer... Try to keep up.
'Cuz ya know, manhood is defined by the benchpress and choice of beer. It's just the way it works.
I for one am not shocked by this revelation....quote:Originally posted by :

You get to be a man regardless of what beer you drink, but it does shed light on what kind of man you are ( or aren't).

I guess you just enjoy amber colored water, then.
At least High Life light tastes like beer. I don't think the extra 46 calories would kill your diet.

I'm sorry to have to be the one to tell you, but you must leave Portland by end of week.
No one in Portland with access to the beer we have access to, should ever drink that swill. Ever.
Someone will be escorting you to the border. I'm sure Estacada, Gresham, or Hermiston would love to have you.

Had it been 28 years ago, I'd be drinking with Boris, but these days, it'll be whichever of these I have in my refrigerator, most likely the amber:
If you're drinking NA, and you haven't tried this one you're missing out:
SAN MIGUEL, the beer loved by old westpac sailors and football fans lucky enough to have an import beer store near them
In the worst category:
Great reasons not to live in Arkansas, if you ask me.
"Beast mode", indeed.

Beast mode is when you strap yourself to the schitter the next morning.
I wouldn't recommend that since the projectiles would likely be exiting both directions.
Any remember Pigs Eye beer? Was a horrible choice through the college years. Unfortunately Busch Light was my only other viable affordable option. Also remember stealing the Special Export out of the old man's fridge growing up.

I hear the weather is ****ty in those places.

still brewing... for anyone that doesn't already know, Pig's Eye is the former name of St. Paul, MN.

Weather is horrible in the entire state.
Please visit and spend your dollars. But, for the love of jerry, don't move here.
Speaking of college, me and my buddy lived off this stuff in the late 80s, early 90s. This was our version of 'near beer'. I'm getting a hangover just thinking about it.
its been a long, long time since I've had a Special X. Can't say I miss it.
As a personal rule, I don't drink anything with the word "old" or "Milwaukee" in it.
Busch light gives me a hangover while I'm drinking it. I won't even cook with it.
Naty Ice has to be at the top of any list of horrible things I have put in my body.
Potosi has, on tap, an oatmeal stout aged in Templeton Rye barrels. I am trying to convince my wife that beer alone is worth the trip. She drinks Coors light.

Was just in Dubuque the other week and was sampling Potosi beers. Good stuff. On the label it says all profits are donated to charity - quite the brewery.
from their website:
as for Special Export, I'm told that the employees that bought the Heileman brewery after they sold out to Miller and formed City Brew use the Special Export recipe for their La Crosse Lager...
from their website:
quote:In January of 2001 the Potosi Brewery building was donated to the Potosi Foundation, and the brewery property was officially transferred. Following a $7.5 million restoration, the Potosi Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and sole owner of the Potosi Brewing Company, reopened the brewery in 2008.
Mission Statement
The Potosi Foundation's mission is to channel all profits into its markets served to support historical and educational initiatives, and charitable causes.

That was my Dad's beer. Still have a couple of Special Export stemmed beer glasses around.
When he'd watch the Packers, he'd be eating herring or sardines on soda crackers, along with this horrible stuff that was recently brought back from Hell:
Liederkranz
The distinct aroma is nightmare inducing.
speaking of Natty Ice, the whole ice trend was a horrible thing all around. Even our neighbors to the north put out terrible stuff. This in particular was pre-skunked.
They figured out how to bottle sunlight, or was that part of the brewing process?
Is there anything from Elsinore Brewery in that picture?
EK - that's a great picture!
Whip out your Norbecker!
Great flick!
My favorite bier.

The conversation on gay beer really starts and ends with
If I ever see a "man" drinking one of these I want to slap his hairy vagina out from under his gunt.

Maybe a Great Lakes which is brewed here in Ohio. I know when you hear Cleveland you may think of a burning river but this brewery is worth checking out. They brew some good beer. Not sure how far they distribute so many of you may have never heard of them.

Eclipsed only by the golden era of "dry" beers.
