Went to HS with Xa.
McKinney was the 1st guy to hug him in the locker room after LaFleur give MW the game ball.

Willis got a ton of help from his teammates and most importantly I don’t remember Malik making a single glaring mistake. Admittedly things were extremely simplified for him, but he did a great job following the game plan.
Things would have been even better for him if Narveson makes the late field goal and Jacobs doesn’t have that awful fumble that cost them 6 points.
Quarterback controversy…..
JT likes Willis' performance!
Plus, bonus barf-ball analysis
Now available at the Packers Pro Shop.
🤦🏻
Called the pro shop, they said they've sold 4 so far. One to his mom, one to his dad and two to his sisters.
Blair Kiel would wear one.
Reported!
Not sure if this has been posted.
Could Willis be "Packer People"?
Sure looks like Packer People to moi. 🥰 ♥️ 💚 💛
I'm holding out for the Malik Willis NFTs.
Well if "Mallick Willis is at the cumBine," we're in trouble.

With Love practicing, has this gone on clearance yet?

If Malik calls you "bro" you know you asked a really dumb question. But he sounds very cordial doing it.
Is he the 3rd best QB in the division?
+120 QB rating in both games.
Appears to be very cool under pressure. Never really seemed to rush the play.
He needs some snaps even with Love starting.
I agree. Give him a Taysom Hill role.
Different from Taysom. I see Willis as a better passer and Hill as a tougher runner. Packages for Willis that gets him in space.
Quarterback controversy…..
Lot of talent on the team. Few Josiah’s getting too many snaps yet
So far, so good. I'm impressed with his keeping his cool in games even as the play breaks down. On his pre-Packers highlights, he would take off at the least sign of trouble or throw up... something, so I can only presume that Clements and MLF have already helped him. Yes, he's gotten lucky on the throw to Doubs in week 2 and this week to Watson, but given the way they were thrown, it looked like a new skill he was learning: toss it up and let his WRs go get it. (Usually risky with Watson, but he grabbed it out of the air this week.) Everything else before his Packers days was flat and hard.
I can only say that Clements deserves medal 1 and MLF, for adjusting plans, medal 1A.

Speaking of Josiah and someone else's comment on twitter about Kraft adding the previous TE/FB's role to his current role. I think this is actually a good thing for Musgrave and the potential of getting both TE's on the field at the same time. Kraft can play that hybrid roll while Musgrave is more of a receiving threat down the seam. Gute doubled up on TE last year but they have different strengths.
Whatever happens with/to Willis in the future, I really hope he is the real deal.
He seems to be genuine, honest, humble... in short, having the qualities of a fine human being. I hope it serves him well after football.
Of all the outside pass catchers (WRs & TEs), Musgrave is the worst blocker and does little with the ball after the catch.
Being a high pick, he'll have a fairly long leash, but with all the other receiving options his chances will be sparse.

Agree. Should have spent more time in the weight room in the off-season. He’s got decent straight line speed for a man his size but other than MLF scheming him open he hasn’t shown much given his draft position.
Love me some Lynn Dickey. Throw in Lofton, Jefferson and Kaufman.
Coffman, but yes, I was a huge Lynn Dickey fan back in the day!! Loved the guy
Bench him!

"You Can't Lick Our Dickey!"
When GB decides to retire #12, they should invite Dickey as well. He and those 80s teams, regardless of W/L, were a breath of fresh air after the putrid display from the G&G in the mid to late 70s.
