I think Tramon thought he was down.
I missed the play on the first series but I could have sworn I heard the announcers say something about Clifton and Bulaga switching positions for a play.... or was I suffering from a seizure?
I had to rewind the DVR when that was announced. They definitely switched for at least one play. Don't know if it occurred any other time in the game.

I'm sure MM will be asked after the game/tomorrow. It'll be interesting to hear his reasoning.

It was along the lines of, "Get that MFer a bucket so we don't have to keep constant watch over convulsion boy" or something like that.

I think that gets overblown a little. Yeah 48 years... but anybody know offhand how many games that actually amounted to being lost in Philly.

Who knows, but it certainly did look weird. That had to be the first time Clifton played a down at RT as a Packer in a regular season game.

So why didn't Marshawn Lynch come out and congratulate him after the game?

Prick....

And is it just me or did I see the return of uber-homer Steve of Norway a couple of pages back?
Congrats on a hard-fought and impressive win, guys!!!!

Rodgers showed why he's a Top 5 QB (even with the fumble, hey, elite QBs can have brain farts from time to time) and that Packers D was stout. Now go to ATL and beat the hell out of the Dirty Birds.

GO PACK GO!!!!

Just a few questions for you. Did you not watch this game? Did you not see kickers and their balls hooking yesterday?

10 to 15-20 knot winds the ENTIRE game is now "died down"? Really?
BTP....

PDX is one of those people---whiny tools who only show up to bitch in game threads when things are going badly, only to skulk away (disappointed?) when things go well. He declared the game "over" at one point due to a "total collapse". God, grant me the strength to ignore tools like that-----or give them a devasting Faclcon punch.

lol.. still sulking?
I don't want to look for it, but in a game where we never lost the lead, were there really people saying "game over" as though the Pack were certain to lose?

That fumble bothered me, not only because it was a bad turnover, and Rodgers needs to secure the ball, but also because in that situation he had nowhere else to go. All night last night Rodgers had decent time, but the pocket was bein squeezed around him pretty regularly. On many dropbacks it was clear that he didn't have the room to extend his arm/body when he threw the ball. That to the Eagles credit was nearly as good as getting sacks, cuz Rodgers was clearly unable to stand tall and get the looks downfield.

Look at the poster above you.

He declared the game a "Total collapse" mid-way through the fourth quarter.
Grats to the Pack! After the last two weeks, I'll have to see if there's a publicly traded Milwaukee-based cardiology center I can invest in Smiler.

I was rooting heavily for you guys. Obviously, the Seattle thing factored in, but the chance at a Bears/Pack Championship game was part of the allure. I know, be careful what you wish for--there's a reason the Bears played to win last week--but I don't care. A Bears/Packers Championship game would be an epic topper to a great year.

First things first, let's take care of business next weekend!

Thanks B-N-D. I immediately thought of an epic NFC CG, Bears vs. Packers.

I don't think it could get any better than that.

Question: Do the Bears have the easiest road to the NFC CG ever?

They do...On paper. Playing a team with zero expectations makes me a bit nervous (the Bears are usually the ones to play the "us against the world" card), but it's a game they should win.
