Hopefully LaFluffy takes the bye right after if offered...two hour longer trip in London. Upside is it's only 2 hours ahead of Green Bay. Also early spring there so shouldn't be oppressively hot.

Only the Milwaukee and Green Bay/Fox Cities TV markets are designated "home markets" for the #Packers by the NFL. The Madison, La Crosse/Eau Claire and Wausau/Rhinelander markets aren't.
Much of the state will be SOL (assuming they don't have Peacock).

They will probably hide the game behind that money grubbing, drug pushing, awful Peacock paywall.

good call.

If you thought the NFL wasn't going to capitalize on the single game streaming after the success of it last year ....you haven't been paying attention.

Keep your eyes peeled for a cheap P-COCK sub. You have from now until September 6th. They'll have one. Also some credit cards offer cash back / rewards for certain streaming subs.

Find the way!

P.S. For those of you who have Xfinity/Cox cable, (or other NBC owned entities 🤷‍♂️) you can get Peacock for free.

So will Peacock throw out some special "introductory" rate to dangle the carrot for people to sign up? Also, I wonder if area WI bars/taverns sign up in droves. I can't help but think they are seeing this as a cash cow to pack their bars on a Friday night.

I do not have a smart tv, and live outside of the GB/Milw market. So, I guess I'll be listening to it on the radio.

I'd imagine some major block style parties will be in full effect at area cities all around WI and popular Green Bay Packer bars. Like full sized movie screens being placed outside and making this a big ass party.

I also wonder if Lambeau and maybe even Camp Randall decides to open their stadiums and throw this game on their big screens.

Money, money, money. If they can find a way to make it, especially considering it's a "summer" game weather-wise, business owners will get creative.

To combat the otherwise ill attended bars on friday nights in WI?

You have a computer or smart phone. Download tiktok or youtube. Somebody somewhere in the world, maybe even there in Brazil will be live streaming the game from the field or off their TV. I have been scrolling watching an NFL game many times and see someone live streaming it. You may need to fumagate your phone if you download tiktok to get the chinese spys off of it but it would be worth it to watch the Packers.

I suspect LaFleur learned a lesson or three on how leaders can impact a team.

Luckily there are few players left from the London/NYG fiasco.

I love the idea of a home game at PHI.

Start the year 1-0, leading the NFC Central, and up a game in the Conference.

This thread seems like the place to ask this asinine question.  With a Peacock subscription, are you able to stream the game - on delay?  Reason I ask is my boy will be in football season.  No capture options for NFLbite and if not on the TV I have no option to record.  We'll both want to watch the game in it's entirety, if we can.

Thanks for answer, signed, the last guy in America who has never had a Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, whatever.

I'm spoiled enough I want to watch every game so bad. Enough that I might die if I don't!
Streaming has pretty much that possible.
I did love the nostalgia of listening to games on the radio when there was no other choice. CBS or Westwood One's Game of the Week were the primary choices. Both were available on FM radio, as I recall.

So I'm not sure how it will work with an NFL game, but I did watch Badger games on replay and after they had started on Peacock.  Same with the rugby I watch.  But I did notice that if I started the game AFTER it was going it never gave me an option to start from the beginning--it just jumped into live action.  I had to close my eyes and hit the rewind button until it was back to the beginning.

If you wait util the game is over then you can start from the beginning but there may be a delay before the replay is available.  But with the NFL, who knows!

NFL+ gives you all games on replay within 30-60 minutes of completion.

Full TV broadcast,  condensed (no breaks) broadcast usually about 35 minutes run time, and ALL 22 views if you really want to geek out.

Costs about $90 / year and let's you watch ALL preseason games streaming live.

I'd rather see GB play Philly in Brazil than at Philly... especially the first game of the season.

I am with you on that one.  The Packers have been a little better in Philly but historically they do not play well there.  Philly is still a very good team and its going to be a tough one to start the season off.

I’ve seen every Packer game in Philly for the last 30 years. However, I’m not going to Brazil!  😢

Don't you want to say that you've been to every Packer's game in Brazil in franchise history?
