Not according to this data.  Interesting Twitter thread that was retweeted by Andrew Brandt…  He went through PFF grades of Expected Points Added per play and graphed it out compared to Brady and Mahomes (and even threw Joe B’s 2 playoff games in there).  This is stat nerd stuff but interesting to look at.

Has a team won a Super Bowl with a 35-40M QB?  Rodgers is set to make 46M in 2022.

Didn’t realize Stafford is on the books for less than 25M this year and next.  He’s not Aaron Rodgers, but if he wins a title that’s really going to sting.

Not sure if it was MP2 that posted it but Rodgers best playoff performances were inside on the turf.

For a guy that likes to carry on about “the colder the better” he hasn’t exactly played well at Lambeau or outside in the playoffs.  Even the game against the Bears he was really ordinary and damn lucky Raji and Shields came up with huge INTs.

I think Aaron Rodgers can win a Super Bowl again, but not in Green Bay.  It’s a combination of poor decisions by the Pack over the past 10 years, some bad luck, and the fact that Rodgers’ own personality can get in the way when things around him aren’t going well.

It's also really rare for a QB who's been with the same team to win a SB there in his later years.  Brady is the outlier in NE.  Elway.  That's the list.

Josh Allen played in his game the way AR did when he was younger and on his way to the Super Bowl.

Arod this year played like an old man against the Niners. Remember all those games where they'd say Rodgers threw completed passes to 7-8 different receivers.

This wasn't one of those nights.

Ridiculous that we lost.

Ten points. That's 10-points. After an early TD. Yikes.

I too have had enough of the "trust" factor .... just throw it to the guy who is most open. That is your job ....as MLF always says "just do your job", but that just does not seem to pertain to AR. Funny that coaches are praised all the time for giving a RB the ball after they have fumbled .... but QBs are expected to ignore receivers after they have dropped a ball?

Yep. So Deguara dropped one and he gets ignored the rest of the game. Jordy used to have the drops early in his career, a good thing a young Rodgers didn't blow him off.
