Happ is useless today. Way too much dribbling.
The number of bad passes is ridiculous
Sad
This was a nice win in the sense that they did it without Happ. He was flat out bad today - bad passes and dribbling. He had 7 of the 15 Badger turnovers.
Movin on
Ugly. According to announcers Nebraska played good defense on Happ when he only played about 17 minutes
Four points from Happ. Worse game I've seen from him in quite a while.
If you'd have told me that Ethan Happ played a game in which he shot 50% from the floor and had no misses from the FT line and didn't get into any foul trouble whatsoever, I'd have thought that would mean great things. As Cheezers said, it actually gives the returning guys more confidence for next year they can get a win like this.
By the way, how did Kahlil Iverson turn into a All-Big 10 level player after 125 games of being basically just a guy?
He's averaged double digit minutes per game every year of his career.
In the first 125 games of his career, he averaged 5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game and shot 52% from the floor. Keep in mind at least a quarter of these games were against some weak non-conference teams.
In the last 7 games, he's averaged 14 points and 7 rebounds a game while shooting 61% from the floor against 7 Big 10 teams.
Where did this come from? It's great, but why did it take 125 games for the switch to get turned on?
''Tis a mystery.
