I know it's a step in the process, but winning teams that get a wide open look at the end of the game make them. They had it. They did everything right- penetrate, kick, extra pass, wide the f open... that is exactly how you draw it up. He rushed it, and that's why it wasn't close.

This one got away. Doesn't get any easier...

Multiple factors, right. Telly misses wide open 3, Giannis drives into triple team and gets stuffed, Jabari goes one-on-one and gets the ball stolen for a huge breakaway.... satisfying to match-up with the best team in the league, but inexperience rather than talent cost them.

Beasley getting ejected might have been the biggest factor. That was a bigger impact for the Bucks than it was for the Spurs.

That was a stink fest. Really bad game for Giannis, he needs to learn to stop committing such stupid fouls. At times he goes iso too much, bro you're good but not Kobe yet...pass it to Jabari.

BTW have you ever seen a guy like Monroe with such little athleticism. I'm guessing he has a 10" vertical....and put a fracking body on someone, he must have allowed 400 offensive boards to the Hawks.(or atleast multiple during the second half collapse ) Can't wait to see him gone.

Up by 20 at half and lose. Ouch.

This tough stretch of games has re-exposed their poor defensive effort from the early part of the season. A 3 point barrage and an inability to answer. Toronto hit 14 threes (25 att.), the Bucks 4 (on 24 att.). They each hit 42 shots on the game, and the Bucks shot a respectable 47% from the field overall.

Rebounding also continues to be an issue- out rebounded 53-44, 16-12 on the offensive end, and as a result Toronto shot 50.6% from the field overall.

Until their interior defense and rebounding improve, they'll continue to struggle against good teams.

It sucks that Parker's missed FTs will be underlined because he played a helluva game up against LeBron. The Cavs got some officiating help in two sequences that changed the way the end was played out.

That play in OT with Jefferson jumping sideways to create contact on a 3 pointer should be a no-call. Giannis was jumping to the side of Jefferson- he was a good 6-8 inches to Jefferson's right- and he leans sideways to make contact. And gets 3 FTs???? Complete bullsh*t. And Giannis fouls out.

And the ongoing, season long referee conspiracy to not give Parker critical foul calls is getting old. In OT Cleveland took control on swallowed whistles and bs calls. Parker attacks, gets nothing. Giannis flies by a shooter who has to torque his body sideways to make contact and that guy gets 3 FTs.

It wasn't game 7 or anothing, and the Bucks are starting to play like a team that believes they should beat everyone they play. It's just frustrating that the Bucks are not given and respect. But the party has arrived. If this Bucks team plays this way every night, look out! Teletovic needs to hit his open looks, but this team is coming together fast.

Teletovic was brought here to make 3s in games like this. He's just another Ersan Ilyasova- will have one night where he pads the stats, then o-fer when they need him.

Parker/Giannis doing their part with 55 points. Brogdon the only other guy in double figures. Cavs hit 15/27 threes and out rebound the Bucks. Bucks got their message from the champs... you got a long way to go.

Brogdon has been a nice surprise for this team and has been playing well.

Delly is Delly and every good team needs a guy like that.   He's not a superstar but does everything pretty well.

Teletovic needs to step up.  He's had some good games but needs to be more consistent.

Interesting comments by Lebron and Irving after the game in Cleveland.  Sounds like they view the Bucks as a threat and didn't like getting pummeled earlier this year. That tells me they respect the talent on this team and honestly I think they match up pretty well with the Cavs.

The close losses are maddening but if Middleton can come back and contribute this is a dangerous team.

They're further along than I thought they'd be this early in the year.

Brogdon has exceeded expectations. Middleton may still return this season, but it remains to be seen if he'll ever be quite the same.

The overall record is close to what I expected so far, but you'd need to be blind not to see how high the ceiling is.

I do not expect Middleton to return this year. And really, it actually has been a positive, because it has given Parker more room to work. I like Middleton as a 3rd scorer rather than the 1st or 2nd.

Brogdon has been fantastic. He should get some ROTY votes. He and Delly have been better than anyone could have expected.

They stilll give up 3s, and the rebounding is up and down. But they should be able to feast on the EC... IF they play consistent winning basketball like they have of late.
