Good article on how things are coming together...
Music City posted:I know it's a step in the process, but winning teams that get a wide open look at the end of the game make them. They had it. They did everything right- penetrate, kick, extra pass, wide the f open... that is exactly how you draw it up. He rushed it, and that's why it wasn't close.
This one got away. Doesn't get any easier...
Multiple factors, right. Telly misses wide open 3, Giannis drives into triple team and gets stuffed, Jabari goes one-on-one and gets the ball stolen for a huge breakaway.... satisfying to match-up with the best team in the league, but inexperience rather than talent cost them.
Beasley getting ejected might have been the biggest factor. That was a bigger impact for the Bucks than it was for the Spurs.
And all the offensive rebounds- the Spurs attacked the paint and got a ton of second chance points. That issue isn't going away this year...
Yep. That's KG teaching Thon Maker a few new moves after @bucks practice #Bucks pic.twitter.com/JcRPPeGj3t

Bucks getting a solid win tonight. Portland an example of living by the 3 and dying by it.
Incredible
Hawks scored 70 in the second half
Bucks got whistled for 25 fouls compared to 11 for Atlanta
That was a stink fest. Really bad game for Giannis, he needs to learn to stop committing such stupid fouls. At times he goes iso too much, bro you're good but not Kobe yet...pass it to Jabari.
BTW have you ever seen a guy like Monroe with such little athleticism. I'm guessing he has a 10" vertical....and put a fracking body on someone, he must have allowed 400 offensive boards to the Hawks.(or atleast multiple during the second half collapse ) Can't wait to see him gone.
Up by 20 at half and lose. Ouch.
Bucks have had at least 3-4 games like this. They have a sizable lead but can't close it out. It's the sign of a young team that is still learning how to win.
Still shocked at the FT disparity. Was Joey Crawford or Nick Bavetta reffing?
Closing games continues to be an issue. It's the G position that wrecks them down the stretch- Schroeder and Wall just lit them up once they got to the end, and each time the Bucks needed to answer and stumbled. That's winning in the NBA. 2018-19... *sigh*
This tough stretch of games has re-exposed their poor defensive effort from the early part of the season. A 3 point barrage and an inability to answer. Toronto hit 14 threes (25 att.), the Bucks 4 (on 24 att.). They each hit 42 shots on the game, and the Bucks shot a respectable 47% from the field overall.
Rebounding also continues to be an issue- out rebounded 53-44, 16-12 on the offensive end, and as a result Toronto shot 50.6% from the field overall.
Until their interior defense and rebounding improve, they'll continue to struggle against good teams.
Good effort last night v Bulls
Bucks jumped out to a big lead and didn't collapse this time
They tried... got all the way down to 8.
They will not shoot well tonight- will they defend?
Finished what they started- full endvto end domination...
Wow. Back to back beatings of the Bulls. Nice.
Any word on how Middleton is progressing ?
Bucks getting pounded by a motivated Cleveland team. Can't win if you're allowing 8/12 from 3 and 58% overall. The basket is about 6 feet wide, just killing the Bucks at their weakness.
Bucks showing some mettle... cut an 18 point deficit to 4 at the half. Not a bad showing for the young Bucks...
Down 2... :47 to go!
Tie game!!!!
We're in OT... Bucks plays by solid ball tonight. Sure would be nice to get one tonight...
What this team could have been with Middleton....
Still fun to watch Jabari and Giannis develop so well.
That's a horrific f-ing call... jumps sideways and makes contact, and gets 3 freer throws????
Oh my God!!!!!!!!! Jabari got friggin' hammered by LeBron!!!! Good grief!
This is so typical... LeBron gang raped Jabari and gets nothing... then hits a 27 footer for the lead.
I'd love to see a video of that sequence.
It sucks that Parker's missed FTs will be underlined because he played a helluva game up against LeBron. The Cavs got some officiating help in two sequences that changed the way the end was played out.
That play in OT with Jefferson jumping sideways to create contact on a 3 pointer should be a no-call. Giannis was jumping to the side of Jefferson- he was a good 6-8 inches to Jefferson's right- and he leans sideways to make contact. And gets 3 FTs???? Complete bullsh*t. And Giannis fouls out.
And the ongoing, season long referee conspiracy to not give Parker critical foul calls is getting old. In OT Cleveland took control on swallowed whistles and bs calls. Parker attacks, gets nothing. Giannis flies by a shooter who has to torque his body sideways to make contact and that guy gets 3 FTs.
It wasn't game 7 or anothing, and the Bucks are starting to play like a team that believes they should beat everyone they play. It's just frustrating that the Bucks are not given and respect. But the party has arrived. If this Bucks team plays this way every night, look out! Teletovic needs to hit his open looks, but this team is coming together fast.
Sorry, but if this team becomes as good as we think, the refs will make sure they win nothing. FU NBA.
Teletovic was brought here to make 3s in games like this. He's just another Ersan Ilyasova- will have one night where he pads the stats, then o-fer when they need him.
Parker/Giannis doing their part with 55 points. Brogdon the only other guy in double figures. Cavs hit 15/27 threes and out rebound the Bucks. Bucks got their message from the champs... you got a long way to go.
Brogdon has been a nice surprise for this team and has been playing well.
Delly is Delly and every good team needs a guy like that. He's not a superstar but does everything pretty well.
Teletovic needs to step up. He's had some good games but needs to be more consistent.
Interesting comments by Lebron and Irving after the game in Cleveland. Sounds like they view the Bucks as a threat and didn't like getting pummeled earlier this year. That tells me they respect the talent on this team and honestly I think they match up pretty well with the Cavs.
The close losses are maddening but if Middleton can come back and contribute this is a dangerous team.
Bucks drop 73 on the Bullets in the first half, shoot 67% and are blowing this thing open. But we've seen this movie before... gotta play the second half. Bullets are only 15 down because they're 7/13 from 3.
No 3q letdown tonight...
Watching the blossoming of Parker and Antetokoumpo has been very exciting. They've arrived. The league has taken notice.
For the first time since the Big 3 the Bucks have a future. And these guys have the ability to far exceed the one season of glory achieved by that group.
Hop on, y'all... this party is just getting started!
They're further along than I thought they'd be this early in the year.
Brogdon has exceeded expectations. Middleton may still return this season, but it remains to be seen if he'll ever be quite the same.
The overall record is close to what I expected so far, but you'd need to be blind not to see how high the ceiling is.
I do not expect Middleton to return this year. And really, it actually has been a positive, because it has given Parker more room to work. I like Middleton as a 3rd scorer rather than the 1st or 2nd.
Brogdon has been fantastic. He should get some ROTY votes. He and Delly have been better than anyone could have expected.
They stilll give up 3s, and the rebounding is up and down. But they should be able to feast on the EC... IF they play consistent winning basketball like they have of late.

Bucks build a 10 point lead 96-86 in the 4th, get outscored 21-6 the rest of the way.
Same old ****
this team must lead the league in 4Q close losses
That's on Kidd
Bucks continue their on again off again play with a pounding of Detroit in their building. "The Cornerstones" dominate...
I wanted Sabonis in the draft, but in hindsight, this past draft sucked balls so picking a lottery ticket like Maker was probably the right move.
Brogdon should be in the conversation for ROTY
Brogdon has been a nice surprise and he's only going to get better.
Like what Tony Snell has been doing as well. MCW has done nothing for the Bulls.
Need to get more out of Teletovic but the two young bucks are rolling right now.
