All time favorite beer. The next one.

Best
The Marzen beers are definitely my favorite. Between Hacker and Hofbrau, it’s why autumn is my favorite time of year.
Stiegl Goldbrau is also a personal fave- they serve it on tap at The Bavarian Lodge in Lisle, one of my favorite hangs...

Agreed. My wife's uncle is a (former) graphic artist, and he designed their labels. They were done (originally) the old-fashioned way, with paint. He resides in Magalia, CA. If you saw the story during the #CampFire about the horse/mule that survived the fire in someone's swimming pool... that was on his property.
Another X4 brush with greatness. They have the best labels IMO.

The labels are beautiful and reminiscent of the CA orange crates I used to store my albums in. LOL
Found this beer through reading books by Todd Borg based on the Lake Tahoe area.

We drank that in college, we could get warm cases for a buck cheaper. We'd buy it warm, throw it in the fridge and start drinking the warm stuff.
The motto was "if it ain't room temperature, it ain't Hamms".
Good times.
Ahhh yes we did the same thing with Schaefers. My friends dad owned a store and he let us buy Schaefers at "cost" which in the early to mid 80's was about $2.00 a case.
So when I was a kid growing up on a farm in NE Wisconsin my dad used to keep a 12 pack of Stroh's on the back of the tractor to drink while we worked. No big deal right? Well... It started out cold but it go gradually warmer and my dad would chug it like gatorade. Even at 9 or 10 years old I said to myself that's just wrong.

My uncle loves PBR. When he came out to visit this past summer I found this. It's actually not horrible for a mass produced pilsner. Better than Ultra or MGD64 at least.
He liked it too. Good thing because he has a beer gut only a Wisconsinite could love
Give me 70 IBUs or go home!
Do you like stout? Try the offerings from Richmond's Hardywood Park.

This is my everyday, always in the fridge. Many moons ago it used to be Sam Adams Boston Lager. I blame Avery's Maharaja for zombiefying my hophead.

70 IBUs to me is just a start if I am taking it easy that day.
Ubetcha posted:I have a rotation. I stay away from the heavily hopped stuffed on a regular basis with only an occasional IPA. Most of it's too "piney" for me. Always have Leinie's Original on hand. Have also really come to like Summits's Dakota Soul.
My niece works at Summit in the lab. Taste testing required.
I like any good Oktoberfest.
Left Handed Milk Stout brewed out of Colorado I think. Fantastic stuff.
You probably won't like it...

The regular milk stout or the nitro you pictured? I know people rave about the nitro beers, but I do not find them appealing.
Workman's Compensation, amazing ale on tap if you can find it

The old Coors Octoberfest wasn't bad either.
I found a mouse in the bottom of one of those bottles from elsinore, never tried it again.
Isn't that like a worm in tequila?

This stuff is really good. Makes a great root beer float.
You'll find Dan Patrick and company frequently gushing about Spotted Cow. Great beer. Lienies Red is good. I just pound Icehouse 16 oz for $4.99
My non-alcoholic versions of Root Beer I can drink at work, or when I am driving with no adverse effects. It is just what I enjoy.
I’ve always felt Leinies Red was their best option. So many other good choices like Capital Amber, Johnny Blood Red, Alaskan Amber, etc. Love me some amber.
I believe I've mentioned Alaskan Amber, and love Capital Amber, and then there's an Irish red I loved........hmmmmmm, Smithwick's and Killian’s Irish Red.
