Capers has commented several times the last few weeks on how he has to dumb down the defense for the young players. Points to Steelers as an example of how defense works/gets better as players play longer in it.
However, with TT emphasis on youth, we aren't getting the long term veteran players. There is a mismatch between the players the defense should have and what it does have.
Doesn't mean Capers can't coach, or scheme doesn't work. Just means that he and his scheme are a bad fit for the players we have and will continue to have under TT

Packers have figured out how to move the ball. But can the defense hold? They need to do the unthinkable to date. Get off of the field on consecutive possessions without giving up points.

that's a weak call on Bak…they are letting both sides play so you think you'd need something more to warrant a call. Could have cost us 4.
Offense is starting to click. Would like to see more Starks in 2nd half + Cobb…where has he been? Nothing is easy for them -- nothing down field.
Defense had great INT and some nice red zone stops, but let's face it…they still have given up 200+ yards and haven't forced a punt. They'll need to make some plays in 2nd half.
All in all, feel fortunate to only be down 3 after that awful start. But first SF possession will be a big one.

Whew! I thought they were gonna blow it there when they threw that last pass. Had it been caught I could easily have seen the 4 seconds run off with the ball carrier trying to gain yards. Just burn the TO and kick it, but it worked out so there's that. 
If the D can hold them to 17 points this half, we will win.
No matter the final result, MM should clock Harbaugh in the mouth when the game is over. Then tell him that CMIII asked him to show Harbaugh what a fist is.

Defense is hanging on by the skin of their teeth with now Shields and Neal out. Just a matter of time before those floodgates give. Hate to say it but this team's injury situation is the most consistent element about it. Hard to beat a fully healthy playoff team with half a defense.
