So this is what a Viking fan goes through each week. I will never speak badly of them again.
We're in this QB position because of our off-season decisions with backups. We have been unbelievably lucky over the last 20 years to have ironmen come and play every Sunday--something a majority of teams in the NFL would trade 3 rounds of draft picks for. It's time to man up and use this running game we've built and salvage a few wins against mediocre teams while Rodgers recovers.
3-2 in November is completely doable and would be a win imo (assuming Rodgers comes back for the Lions).
If anything, we know Tolzien is comfortable running a run first offense.
Mike Carey's crew has gotten flag happy the last couple of years.
Mix in some Starks please.. Gonna run Lacy into the ground with 40 carries.
