Lot of healing to do, but they need an answer at Center too. But they don't have one, do they?

If MM doesn't trust Crosby then they should cut him. Not his fault the TO, but you kick a FG you're up 6. The defense played quite well though they missed Matthews. Bad loss with all the injuries thrown in. So hopefully these guys will be ready for week five, game four.

Ignoring Tretter?  Injuries plague this team, not your conspiracies.

They're still garbage when Matthews is out. I feel like they probably would have held on if Burnett and Hayward were out there, though. Still really disappointed with every OLB not named Clay Matthews though. Perry is alright in coverage (supposed to be his weakness, oddly enough) and against the run, but he's shown almost no ability rushing the passer outside of a couple impressive plays here and there.

From Robert Klemko of Sports Illustrated: Searching for an explanation for Packers' loss? Bengals DE Michael Johnson vs. Packers LT David Bakhtiari = 7 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 4 QB hits

Rookies are going to cost you in tight games. Franklin was fumbling the football as he started to leap.

Veterans can cost you too. Tramon Williams is a shell of what he was 2 years ago.

Nick Perry = Jamal Reynolds. It just depends on when the Packers admit it.

Yeah, not talking about the Jerrahs.

Oh yeah, I [catts] should have known that you were talking about the Okla State Cowboys.

You should've known you're a dope and to shut your piehole.  Did you see mention of the Jerruh's in this thread or would there be reason to mention your irrelevant team?

I'm sure you meant to type [an idiot]. Must have been a slip of the finger.

This is very true.  In a perfect world Tramon would be signed to a renegotiation to his actual value the way some guys receive extensions.

One thing Rodgers can be nitpicked about over the years is his touch on the short passes.  They're frequently errant.  It was apparent again today.

Ross is a waste of a roster spot.  That muff was as bad as it gets.

The Packers had crap load of opportunities to win this game.

Rodgers just had a bad game. He's human. And we were reminded of that today.

Who would have known a week 4 bye would have been ideal. But it clearly is. This team will get healthy and get the Lions at home.

This was an AFC loss. I thought the defense gave Rodgers and the offense plenty of opportunities to put this game away. Held the Bengals to under 300 yard of offense.  Bengals had 82 yards rushing. Packers sacked Dalton 4 times. Forced a crap load of T.O's. AJ Green just 46 yards receiving.

99% of time a otherwise stellar Rodgers puts 40+ points on the board with those gifts the defense was giving him.

They need to give Hayward a chance at moving up into Williams's spot once he gets back. Hell, I'd even move him down to dime and give House a shot at being the nickel CB.

Spot on   IMO, this game is more on offense than the defense.

The Bengals weren't going to score again if Matthews stays in the game. Between the opening drive TD and him going out, they were absolutely rolling. Really disappointed with the anemic pass rush from Nick Perry and the rest of the non-Matthews OLBs right now. Perry needs to get it going soon.

James Jones being invisible for two of the three games doesn't help. I still can't get over those 2 first and goals from the 5 yard line. Rodgers had a bad game by his standards, but I don't think he was thrilled with MM's play-calling either. Also, since they started supposedly watching the blows to the head, why are there SO MANY DAMN BLOWS TO THE HEAD THAT AREN'T CALLED??? No call on that blatant shot at Rodgers' knee. The officiating gets worse every year, I swear to God. Lastly, there was an obvious pick on Hawk that wasn't called. It hardly is EVER called any more. I think I would run pick plays all day long until they started calling it.

Imo Tramon's a good player.  Still deserves to be on the field, though he takes some dumb penalties at times.  Just think he should be paid his true value.  He's been stealing money for the past two seasons.

Injuries were a valid reason for underproduction for a while but he's as healthy as he's going to be and doesn't contribute as much as his contract dictates he should.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to flip Williams and Hayward on the depth chart to see what happens. It may pay off in a big way. Shields is a player, but him and Hayward are the only guys I feel comfortable with now. House is a scrappy player with upside, and Hyde looks too slow at this point. Williams is still better than House and Hyde obviously, but I'd like to see Hayward in his spot.

The D is not that dire Dude!  This loss was on the O!  ...and Ross.

I agree, there are reasons to be optimistic with the defense, but they need to find a way to put together a complete game, with or without the injuries. They've only played well in portions of games so far.

1) While Ross may have potential for a returner, how can anyone trust that guy. He's been asked to handle, what, 15 returns in his career? And already 2-4 total disasters. Just get rid of him.

2) The Bengals are one dirty team. There were about five dirty hits on Rodgers alone

3) The defense needs to be much smarter...two of those personal foul penalties were just stupid (Perry and Williams)

4) Get healthy and don't panic. Yes, they're 1-2, but they still have full set of division games left and they've played tight games against arguably two potential Super Bowl teams shorthanded.

Free Range Asshole, don't forget it.  Enjoy your misery.

I have zero idea what you are talking about, but in this world we all have misery.  Some more than others. But wishing misery upon someone is very low.

How about this--once we get to 11 wins you agree not to post anymore.  "marginal team"--is that the best you can come up with in your troll attempt.

If everyone gets back healthy in two weeks for the Lions at Lambeau, they need to blow those bastards out with a complete game on both sides of the ball. No excuses in that one. It's going to be a long two weeks though. Bye weeks always feel 2x longer when the game before it is a loss.
