Sarcasm?

nah, he's hanging out at Excalibur's house.

Stupid remark. Grown up men (supposedly) getting worked up my questioning Saint Ted. Take Rodgers away and look at the rest of the overall talent both sides of the ball. TT is a good GM, not great. Nothing at TE beyond the drop-meister Finley. Letting Wells go last year has hurt them, a lot. And a poster here tells me about a rookie from Cornell was the plan at Center in 2013?

How about this--once we get to 11 wins you agree not to post anymore.  "marginal team"--is that the best you can come up with in your troll attempt.

No, he's right.  They'll probably lose in next week's playoff game too.

You have no idea what you're talking about.  It's really that simple.  Read through some threads here and educate yourself on just how successful the Packer franchise has been over the past several seasons.  Just do a search under posts from Satori and you'll be on the right track.

Seriously. You really need to do some research before you spout stuff like this. Scott Wells managed to break his foot and missed most of the 2012 season. He was a costly FA pick up for the Rams who watched sit in a boot cast most of the year.

When he did play?:

From ESPN:

Now 32, Wells struggled mightily as a run blocker in just seven starts in 2012

You been posting the same dribble all day

.  Backbenchers like you are always coming out of the woodwork when the Packers are losing, or have lost a game.  Nowhere to heard from with these criticisms when we win--which, one would think, if these are your true beliefs you would be posting after we win.

They do have the bye week, so likely he'll be ready unless a later diagnosis is a more severe problem. My problem is after he left the game no one shouldered his load. They needed to sign a pass rush specialist but Ted rarely, very rarely, uses FA.  After the Bronco screw-up over Dumerville I was hoping. Or Osi.

People forget that Jason Spitz actually took the starting job at center from Wells in 2009 before he was injured. Spitz is a free agent right now. Unless his body is just completely trashed, it would be worthwhile for the Packers to bring him in for a tryout.

I just signed into this place last Sunday. I have echoed these criticisms at KFFL, but thanks for the lecture.

Hind sight is 20/20.  At the time, Franklin was tearing it up and didn't have a negative run that I recall.

Thanks for stopping by.  You have contributed nothing meaningful.  Your insight won't be missed should you choose not to post here anymore.

A QB sneak with EDS at center? Did you see Peko dump his sorry ass right into Rodgers's lap on that "sack"? I've been trying really hard to like EDS, but he just won't let me.

Wells was stepped on. Who could predict such an injury had he been signed  to an extension in Green Bay rather then letting him play out the string? Wake up. Number one deal: Protect the franchise. Backup plan: EDS. Second backup plan: Rookie from Cornell.

From Roto World --

The Rams' offensive line served up 26 sacks over the first ten games last year, but just nine in the six contests after C Scott Wells' return to the lineup.

Clearly the Packers are way off base...Follow the vikings blueprint...sign all former packers and live vicariously through all things Green and Gold or the BoBs model....Here's the thing I love about Emery. When he sees a problem or deficiency, he attacks it via multiple angles. He doesn't just sign one FA, he drafts the position as well. I think the Trestman/Emery duo are going to have a fantastic run in Chicago.

Heavy dose of on the board today

And your insight is....... ? The O-Line is good? No problems with Saint Ted's drafting?  Not using FA to fill a hole? That about it?

Well. The hind sight is in the situation. I don't recall him lining up in a "we don't care if you know its coming" formation and the Packers OL pushing folks off the ball. It was a situation where Kuhn has had trouble getting yardage behind the Packers OL the lat couple of seasons. Franklin did great on draws, pitches etc. where the threat of the pass was present. He demonstrated great vision and balance.  This was different. It required the OL to move a massed DL long enough for a hand-off to work. It isn't something the Packers have excelled at with any RB of late.

There will be second guessing in other venues besides this.

Pro bowlers at every position.  Please explain this strategy and how you would balance the cap, keeping the team competitive over the long haul.  I'm waiting.

As we all know, we have never seen a smart, rookie Olineman come in and make a difference.  Oh wait, I forgot I know how to read.

Only seeking out half truths to fit your agenda while willfully ignoring the rest of the story?  Where have I heard that before?
