Yup, that was ugly. That was more of Green Bay giving that game away then the Bungles winning it.

Force 6 turnovers and find a way to lose....gotta be some kind of record

 

 

Bull****.  Cincy has a solid defense and it showed.

Maybe the worst game in his career. 

Zimmer gave AR fits the last time they lost to them. He didn't play well, but the Cincy defense had a whole lot to do with it.

Must have had 3 batted balls on us the last series.  I know you need to get his hands down for the pass play, but that's an all or nothing play.  You need Bak to get his cut block, and he already has shown in SF he couldn't get that block done.

 

Rather seen a straight dropback, and had all options open for the last play.

 

But, the reason we lost is because we couldn't score TD's inside the red zone in the first half.  Left 8 points on the board.

we only rejoice over a loss by Phil, Wash, NYG and/or a C/B win...not over a G/B loss.

Was calling for a moving pocket on that last play to avoid a batted ball. But, 1-2 is not a surprise for a lot of folks I've read. The Pack will go 11-5, and this was one of those losses, as was the Niners game. All is still well

created some turnovers but youre not gonna win too many games giving up 34 pts.

The left tackle and the left guard both tried cut blocks on that last pass. The guard was somewhat successful. The tackle was not. The offensive line is an issue. Real good stats. But its a finesses OL. They can be whipped by physical play.

 

This felt like a Lindy Infante type loss today. They found a way to lose it.

A run up the middle with Franklin on 4th and inches with Cincy stuffing the box....I just can't get over that. Franklin isn't a power runner and EDS sure isn't gonna get any push

14 of those points were on a defensive TD and a 3 yard drive that Ross gave them.

 

Go into the bye and get healthy. Forget about this hilarious game.

Painful loss but that is one tough team they played and on the road.  Gotta get this team healthy. They'll be OK, bye is sure coming at the right time.  Would rather lose these games early in the season than late.

Neg... Rodgers with a horrible game.  Just horrible.  Turnovers, need to get that fixed.  

 

Meh...  First half I felt was the best ball Aj Hawk has played since he was a rookie.  Of course, he had to completely AJ Hawk the second half.  

 

Pos...  Pretty sure Brent Fullwood could rush for 1600 yards behind EDS and this online.  

Have a feeling that not to many games will look easy for us this year.  Here's to hoping all our guys heal up after the bye.

bad game by 12. there might be some truth to the fact that he cannot win from behind (at least has that tendency). 

 

homers will try to make excuses, but the fact is that a 1-2 start is lousy, considering the crowded nfc.

 

the defense could not stop them after clay matthews left. i noted in a prior post during the offseason, his career may be at risk due to the recurring hamstring injury. also, despite the ultraconservative approach on injured players, the team ALREADY looks like a MASH unit (i'm sure rodgers is also banged up after today).

 

we shall see if they can recover after the bye. terrible performance in the last quarter.

Get the cut blocks rather than whiffing.

Rodgers was awful, and the defense still instantly turns to **** when Matthews is out. It really looked like they weren't going to score again before he went out. Horrible game, just awful.

So if the 49ers start 1-2, I'll sleep like a baby.

It was his worst game since his first year starting. He had a couple stinkers against the Buccaneers and Saints that year. He hasn't been anywhere near that bad since then.

The fricken Center did not help!

 

Lot of healing to do, but they need an answer at Center too. But they don't have one, do they?

 

If MM doesn't trust Crosby then they should cut him. Not his fault the TO, but you kick a FG you're up 6. The defense played quite well though they missed Matthews. Bad loss with all the injuries thrown in. So hopefully these guys will be ready for week five, game four.

I know the D LOOKS better than this, but ****, it looked like 2011 again but without the dominating offense.

Hey, we had two straight games with 100 yards rushing.   

I thought the D did just okay.  Again, the O was sht!
