Hayward, Shields, and Williams do a great job avoiding tackles.

I'm guessing Wallace had 10% of snaps this week at practice.

This drive is all on Hayward.  Horrible tackle attempt on the 3rd down on the start of the drive, then at the end on another 3rd down he simply gets turn around and guy runs by him.  If he is going to be this bad, rather have Hyde out there who has shown a willingness to tackle.

blitzing to start the game, you are using dime a lot, your DB's are getting run over, you need bigger DB's on their 2 bigger WR's, you do not use Micah Hyde.

Hmmm.

There is no backup in the league that is that good. We all knew we sink or swim with Rodgers. 

Wallace is going to have ~50 seconds to tie this. That'll be the miracle of all miracles. I'm not going to trash Wallace too much, though, the defense lost this game.

Hyde is so good at tackling. Why isn't he playing in such obvious run situations. Heyward is the biggest reason they are getting gashed on the edges.

Never saw this kind of game coming.

This like camp for Hayward after the worst hamstring injury in the history of the league.

Their back-up QB out played our back-up QB. Simple as that.

Agree on Hyde. Why are they hiding him? At least Hyde and Banjo are willing to try to tackle. I have not been impressed with Capers' this game.

Wonder if wallace can heave it 25 yards.

There aren't 32 quality starting QBs in the league.  The chances you will be find a good backup QB to keep you competitive for a chunk of the season is slim.

Well, that little bit of misery is over now. Hope Rodgers will be back next week. They have a shot of getting Matthews back next week, and maybe Perry, too.

Great pass protection against one of the worst pass rushing teams in the league.

TT deserves some heat on this.  Vince Young was cut because there wasn't time to prepare, and we have Seneca as our backup with even less?

Sorry, nothing against Seneca, but there are better backups out there. 

We were totally unprepared from a personnel standpoint.

I understand Wallace hasn't had any practice...but that's no excuse for his throws tonight and poor decision making.  He has a weak arm, and he bails out at the slightest hint of pressure.  Hard to see how Tolzien could play worse.

Wow, a devastating night to say the least.  Tonite, the ultimate injury was suffered and until that injury heals, this team is an also-ran. 

Don't kid yourself. A "collar bone injury" usually means a break, which means a month at minimum. They just don't want to announce it until MM hears it first and is done crying. 

Do you think we'll see Tolzien? If we're going to miss Rodgers for any length of time, I'd rather see what Tolzien has than see Wallace out there again. I didn't like him playing in Seattle and now I like him even less. Even his body language was just in the Dumpster. 

This sucks to lose to the Bears like this. 

Why Thompson thought Wallace was a suitable back-up is mind boggling. The dude looked like he couldn't care less. No passion. No enthusiasm. No QB play. 

Dom Capers Defense is only good when it can piggy back off of a strong offense. There was no way his Defense, even with Mathews, could win a game when the Offense is down. A 9 minute drive against a losing back-up QB to seal the deal.

If Rodgers is out for more than two weeks. The Packers might need to send a plane to MS.

AR kept that left arm safely tucked away during the post game. A NFL backup isn't going to win multiple games these days. It isn't like Earl Morrell. The goal is to have a backup that is capable of winning a game. The Packers haven't had that in two years and it finally bit them on the tookus. Especially when you consider how potent the running game was. Not a great QB. Just competent.

A Kyle Orton could have done better.

Walking out on the field for that last series you could tell even Wallace knew he had no chance to lead them to a touchdown.

What did Wallace even do between series? He just looked like he would have rather been anywhere else than at Lambeau. Let's see what Tolzien can do if Rodgers is out. 

Tim Tebow would have given me more hope the Seneca Wallace. 

My history of reading body language tells me when a QB hides under a hoodie like that after being injured....He is going to be out awhile

^^yep.  Wallace was atrocious.

seriously, Tebow woulda been much better. AS mentioned, it looked like the playing field was the last place Seneca wanted to be. kick the tires on Flynn or Tebow if Rodgers has a chance of playing again this year. if not, it doesn't matter.

That was a joke given the recent news from St Louis....I seldom get to watch football and can barely keep up with it. I have moved on from the Favre era, perhaps you should too.
