Thought Deone Bucannon displayed best press technique & jam in one on ones, which surprised considering he's a safety.

This is a name I get more intrigued by with each piece of draft coverage I read. 6'1 and 216 of what was reported as a very muscular frame. Looks like he can hit and led the PAC 12 in tackles while notching 5 picks and 3 FF. Currently graded as an R2 type, but could definitely creep up boards.

Garopp listed at 6-2.2 and 219 pounds at the Senior Bowl. Has only 9" hands, real small.  Could give him trouble in cold weather.

Unlike a Russell Wilson who is under 6' but has over 10 inch hands.

McCullers is a slug. Nice kid, great size, but has been nothing but a disappointment in Knoxville after coming so highly rated from JUCO. Tennessee ran a 3-4 his first year and pegged him as the NT, terrible. They shifted to a 4-3 his second year and he played either 1 or 3 tech and he was terrible. It wasn't just rushing the QB either, he got consistently burned in the run game. Sure he had flashes where he used every bit of his size, blowing up plays, but that seemed to be only when he felt like it. Meanwhile the coaches got more production and consistency from less highly rated players, walk-ons, and freshmen.

Thanks Tit and all the others for Senior Bowl practise updates. Lots of good stuff and players for TT to grade out.

This likely will be a very deep draft with something like 100 Juniors declaring (a record number). There should be very good players available well into day 3 of the draft. Hope TT can snag a few impact players, and with this depth would not be surprised to see TT trade down for more hits at what could be a gold mine of talent throughout.

Thanks for the insight. I was wondering about him...guys his size usually get used to overpowering the opposition. That works in drills, or early in games, but as the game wears on, they wear out. There are a handful of freaks like Ted Washington and Gilbert Brown, who in their imminent fatness, find ways to excel. But they are rare birds.

McCullers has bust written all over him.

You can set your watch to Ted Thompson being at practices. Bet he'll be here after everyone leaves tonight.

Packers scout not alone in feeling Tajh Boyd/Clemson undraftable. Another league insider told me they would not use a draft pick on the QB.

I understand everyone has & is entitled to their opinion, but that Packers scout needs his scouting privileges taken away.

The SMWW NFL Agent Daily is out! paper.li/NFLSportsAgent…

North Practice Tweets:

Offensive line out on the field early for Wednesday practice

Mike Tomlin out at North practices already, watching defensive linemen warm up.

Iowa LB Kirksey has really flashed all week. Was the SAM for Hawkeyes, but looks like a WILL to me. Very athletic. Can rush the pocket too.

@hawkeyegamefilm:

Kirksey adding to resume again today;showing a lot of LB tools for a guy who spent 50+% of his time over slot WRs

Knew y’all would like Kirksey. Doubt he works out well, but impressed me after hearing nothing about him before writing the preview.

Wisconsin's Jared Abbrederis routes are so efficient. Controlled + decisive, esp downfield, does tremendous job getting CBs outside of frame

Really like Ahmad Dixon. Just showed nice range getting to pylon from centerfield.

Marcus Smith/Louisville struggling in coverage drills.

SAF Jimmie Ward with a very nice job on CJ Fiedorowicz in coverage. Tight, played physical at top of route, closed down for PBU #SeniorBowl

CB Pierre Desir having a helluva day so far. Dominating in press coverage. Just shoved TE Marcel Jensen to ground.

Scouts really complaining about the 2 OL on 1 DL drill South is running. "It's a waste and some DL is gonna get hurt" Donald still dominated

Aaron Donald/Pittsburgh ripping it up again in practice.

Pitt DT Aaron Donald continues to dominate. He's made himself some money this week.

An AFC scout has been gushing about Aaron Donald's ability but admitted his DC would never want him due to size. Reality of AD's situation

#UtahSt Larson looked VG v Donald & others. Battles for leverage thru block. Was only OL Donald didn't make look silly other than Mewhort

Zach Martin/Notre Dame looking really good at left tackle. One of the few lineman to slow down Aaron Donald.

Zack Martin just met his match in Trent Murphy. The length and burst of Murphy got him flailing.

Seantrel Henderson/T/Miami. When he's on his game he's outstanding. Just destroyed Trent Murphy in full scrimmage.

#Stanford DE Trent Murphy would be an excellent 5T at the next level #SeniorBowl

In 1v1 drills, thought WRs Robert Herron/Wyom + Josh Huff/Oregon and CBs Pierre Desir/Lindenwood + Nevin Lawson/UtahSt performed very well.

One NFC scout on Seantrel Henderson's week- "Looks big on the field, hasn't played big on the field"

Chris Borland:

Liked Chris Borland a lot heading into the week. Still do. His instincts are amazing.

As productive as Borland has been throughout his career, he HAS to attack more...can't "wait and see".. Fill the hole, make the play there

Wisconsin's Borland had been outstanding this week. Had another int today. Has had ball in his hands in team sessions everyday this week

Pretty tough to talk about #Wisconsin LB Chris Borland as a prospect without saying "he just makes plays" #SeniorBowl

Not a lot out of the ordinary at practice. Aaron Donald, Chris Borland looked good again. Solid showing from Seantrel Hendesron, Richburg.

Knew this was coming nbcsports.com/college-footba… RT @ChaseGoodbread: Mike Smith says Wisc LB Chris Borland reminds him of Zach Thomas.

Josh Huff is going hard. Just laid out to go after the ball in the end zone.

Josh Huff showing off really impressive body control today.

Stanley Jean-Baptiste drove Josh Huff straight into the ground. Jean-Baptiste sinks, turns well in routes + physical w/ hands. All the tools

Marqueston Huff looks like a safety trying to play cornerback... which he is. Rough day in man coverage vs wide receivers.

Kain Colter/Northwestern made a few sensational catches thus far. Told he'll be used as a return specialist during the game. Very important

#SeniorBowl North Practice winners today: RB Charles Sims, WR Josh Huff, OT Jack Mewhort, DT Aaron Donald, LB Chris Borland, CB Pierre Desir

Draft twitter was ahead of the curve on Jimmie Ward. Wouldn’t be surprised if he is the third or fourth S off the board.

Today's #SeniorBowl North practice report: #Pitt DT Aaron Donald and #NotreDame OL Zack Martin look great - walterfootball.com/seniorbowl2014…

Garoppolo:

Garoppolo getting coached on escaping from center quicker. His lack of depth in drops has been noticeable compared to the other QBs here

Its been probably been said before, but Jimmy Garropolo sports such an efficient and quick release from lower half to delivery.

Garoppolo must have an excellent agent

Ryan Grant of #Tulane went right around Lavelle Westbrooks om a vertical route. Garoppolo delievers a perfect touch pass , Grant finished.

Refusing to take the shot downfield is concerning for Garoppolo... He did the same thing all last week & in the game. Flat/slant/hitch/smash

South Practice Tweets:

Gleaned from DL agility drills: C.Smith & Reid really move well in their frames. McCullers really struggles in these. Ford on another level

Daniel McCullers will have nightmares about the circle drill. So stiff.

Not too many things more awkward-looking than McCullers running the hoop drill

Jalen Saunders can simply be described as Fluid

The South RBs are MUCH better in blitz pickup than the North

Jay Prosch just smoked Telvin Smith on a dig route.

Three times I've seen Keith McGill lose on a drill and he's immediately hurt. Not a good look if you're limping after every bad play.

Jordan Matthews very quick off the line. Poor Lavelle Westbrooks got left in the dirt. Looked like his shoes were tied together.

Chris Davis is certainly active +physical downfield, and shows strength at catch point, but is way too handsy past 5 yards. Won't work in NFL

Walt Aikens is stripping the ball consistently. Great reach and rip.

Dee Ford is owning the team period. So damn fast.

#SeniorBowl South Winners Today: QB Fales, RB Lorenzo Taliferro, TE Crocket Gilmore, OG Jon Halapio, DT DeAndre Coleman, and LB Lamin Barrow

Thought Mike Davis of Texas stood out again today. Jemea Thomas of Georgia Tech did well too.

Lamin Barrow of LSU looked much more comfortable dropping in space. Still at his best working forward.

That wraps it up for padded Senior Bowl practices. #Pitt DT Donald & #Wisconsin LB Borland were a step above everyone IMO.

3. Chris Borland, another Wisconsin prospect, put together another really strong practice. He diagnoses the play so well and moves with such certainty in coverage. He made an impact as a rusher, displaying quick, decisive rush moves vs. running backs and he certainly stood out in special teams coverage drills. People will overlook him because he is under six feet tall, but he has enough bulk and power to be an every down linebacker in the NFL. At worst he’s a special teams contributor and a good one at that.

6. CJ Fiedorowicz was one of the best players on the field today. He was crushing defensive ends during team drills, opening huge holes for RB James White. While he hasn’t flashed in the passing game, his run blocking along has been awesome. He gets such great movement off the line of scrimmage and can more his feet good well enough to ride outside rushers out of the play to open a run lane. Fiedorowicz stressed to me that he has a lot more to give as a receiver and that he’ll prove to NFL teams he can be a great pass catcher.

7. Trent Murphy flashed multiple times in practice today. For a bigger man he showed above average bend while accelerating around the corner and created multiple pressures from his end position. The one thing that stands out down here like it did at Stanford is the motor and effort he gives each play. He refuses to stop or give up on a play until the whistle and he will simply out work an offensive tackle until he gives in.

8. Jordan Zumwalt is a bad man. He brings a physical presence to the field and just goes around looking to blow people up. He showed how physically imposing he can be today during LB/RB rush drills. He attacked the RB with a head of steam and set them up for a fierce swim move that resulted in the RB whiffing completely. While he’s not the best in coverage, and certainly won’t win any 40 yard dash races, he’s the type of ILB that teams need on 1st and 2nd down to set the tone in the run game. On top of that he’s got great size and a presence about him. After practice he was doing interviews with blood streaming down his face.

9. James White had himself a pretty good day, especially in pass protection. He caught my eye a few times with the way he was able to pick up blitzing linebackers and move his feet on their counter moves. White weighed in at a bulked up 205 pounds and up close he’s much thicker than I had envisioned. His lower-half especially is bulked up and ripped up.

13. Iowa LB Christian Kirksey has made himself some money this week. When he was asked to rush off the edge in practice today he won consistently. Kirksey can be a starting LB in the NFL relatively soon, but even if that doesn’t work out he’s going to be an impact special teams LB. Coaches are going to love this kid.

CJ Fiedorowicz might be the most physical TE in the entire draft.  He might not flash the pass catching skills but he'd be a great addition as run blocker and a red zone threat because he is a big/physical dude.

Not shocked at all by the Borland commentary.  That's what the guy does- make play after play.  He's also a turnover creating machine.  He just seems to have that knack for diagnosing plays and rarely is caught out of position.  I'm going to sound like a homer now but he's exactly the type of player the Packers need at ILB and I could care less if he's only 5'11."   That didn't prevent guys like Sam Mills or Zach Thomas or London Fletcher from having outstanding careers.

Also agree with thoughts on Hageman.  From a tools and skills standpoint he might be a top 15 pick.  He actually reminds me a little bit of Worthy.  A guy that should produce more given his physical ability.   You see flashes where he could be a dominant player but it hasn't translated that way.   Don't know if it's lack of motivation or attitude or what.
